Nice change after seafood

A little tired of seafood given a stay in the Fishermen's Wharf area, KTN was a great change of pace. The spicy stew beef soup with your choice of noodles - rice, small or flat, egg, or vermicelli was rich and a little kick. Beef was generally tender with some fat and tendon. Great for a cool... read more

This was a welcome change from the overpriced restaurants along the San Francisco Wharf. I was there on business and just didn't want to get roped into a $30 meal to satisfy my desire for quick but nourishing meal. The place is super clean (also a rarity on the Wharf), the service was super fast and the soup was amazing.... More

We love Thai food and hence we tried this restaurant for 3 different meals, the Tom Yum Soup was nothing home to write about. The Som Tam or raw papaya salad was simply superb, albeit tad spicier than most other Som Tam preparations that we have eaten in many other countries including Bangkok. Just the right crunch in vegetables, peanuts... More

Had lunch here twice as seemed a bit healthier than the other 'fast food' places in the area. Simple seating but all clean. Staff were efficient if not overly friendly. Food was pretty good and not as crazily spicy hot as some Thai restaurants. Portions were decent and certainly nothing was left on my plate. Not good enough to make... More

Please dial back the sugar guys. It was supposed to be a green curry, not a hot green curry ice-cream.

We went to this restaurant and kept our jackets on as it was freezing. They had a carry out facility which made it pretty busy. Disappointed when we found out they didn't have a toilet which meant you had to go 2 blocks to find one. Food tasted great and was resonabley priced. Portions were good sized. Overall would recommend... More

Went here with my brother for our lunch. Restaurant interior is simple, no pretentions. I ordered Tom Yum soup, vegetable spring rolls and chicken rice. Servings were average , flavor is average. In my opinion , it is a fast food thai resto. You need to have a $8 minimum if you want to use your credit card. Service was... More

Small scale restaurant. Excellent and fast service. Very friendly owner...tried the red curry with jasmine rice. Fabulous. Would definitely recommend if seafood on the wharf isn't what you want.

After weeks of restaurants and being exposed to lots of the same foods each time it was refreshing to have the lovely fresh food served at King of Thai Noodle. Fresh vegetables and noodles, a menu with lots of variety at reasonable cost. Would recommend.

I happened upon this restaurant after leaving a Cable Car and finding myself on Fisherman's Wharf. It is very reasonable when you compare it to the multitude of eating spots along the Piers. The setting is bright and airy, the service fast and friendly and the food was very good. I had a Thai ice tea and I really recommend... More
