I love the coffee here! But don't come here if you are in a hurry. The lines in the morning are long. However, if you can be patient, it will be worth it.

Enjoyed the first latte so much went back later the same day for a second. They don't taste like this in Texas where I live. This cup had much less bitterness and a more nutty quality. Each cup is not only a flavorful work if art, but a visual one as well. Each is adorned with a custom design in...

We decided to try Blue Bottle after reading reviews on Yelp. After waiting in line (a LONG line), we ordered a cappuccino and the Single Origin Nel drip which was priced at $7. The cappuccino was okay but the Nel drip, which took an additional 10 minutes to make, is something I will not order ever again. It's sour and...

We tried the Blue Bottle coffee bar in the Ferry Building after walking the Saturday morning farmer's market. We had heard how "great" the coffee was. We weren't disappointed but we weren't overwhelmed either. Coming from New Orleans (the home of cafe au'lait or coffee and chicory) and having visited Jamaica numerous times (Blue Mountain coffee - yum), the Blue...

Don't be fooled by the huge line outside this place, usually that would be a sign of the place offering a great product. In this case, the line is due to the fact that there is no other known coffee shop in the Ferry building and with the foggy weather outside people want a warm drink. The coffee was cold/lukewarm,...

I finally had a chance to get some Blue Bottle coffee beans in S F. Don't miss this wonderful, just-roasted coffee - purchase beans, coffeemakers, or a drink of the real deal. Giant Steps was my choice. Great spot for a pick-up cup of coffee when in the Ferry Building.
We were excited to try this coffee as it has high praises, but were disappointed and couldn't even finish it. All four of us are coffee drinkers and thought it was terrible, tasted extremely bitter and rancid.
We stopped by Blue Bottle in the 1pm hour during the week. The Ferry Building is super busy because of the excellent lunch choices. We were in a line 15 people deep but it was worth the wait for this excellent coffee. The Gibraltar is a treat.
It was such a busy day that we had to queue even at the side window for coffee.
This is the first place I've found in San Francisco that knew what a short macchiato was and made it properly (no doubt there are others but I haven't found them yet).
Absolutely the best espresso coffee and not over diluted with...

we drove here by a guidebook recommendation, it's a lovely little place with wee wooden counters and little stone seats across a tiny lane. delicious coffee, it was a pleasure to smell the flavour some 300 feet away from the place.
