Grove on Hayes disappoints

We went to grab a Valentine's Day dinner before going to the SF symphony. The good? A gorgeous late afternoon outdoor spot to enjoy the street scene. And the sour cherry pie was excellent as was the overlarge cup of coffee. But my entree of the braised short ribs came with cool mashed... read more

Service and food was great, first time we have eaten there but not the last. Recommended by the staff at the Four Seasons and it was well worth it.

we were running late and this was on the way...busy and looked good so we gave it a try. Food was great and we made the show on time. Enjoyed the menu so much we returned for Sunday breakfast. You order and then sit down and they bring it to you. Fun, festive atmosphere. Very quick service and really good... More

Had perhaps one of the best chicken, pecans, & apples salad ever here. They let me modify with ingredients from other salads with no problem. Super nice greeter at the door explains the set up. Fabulous sidewalk seating (if a little noisy from traffic). Will definitely come back on future trips.

Used to live in San Fran and eat at the one in the Marina. Was pleasantly surprised to see they have expanded and there was one right outside our hotel (St. Regis). It was as delicious as I had remembered. Wish I could move it to the east coast!

Headed to the convention center and came across The Grove. The menu offers a lot of options. You order at the counter, they give you your drinks and a number and then you grab a seat upstairs, main floor or outside. I had the French Toast which was two large pieces of bread and was excellent. I also had a... More

While visiting SF, my brother who lives there suggested this as a quick lunch spot. Lots of selections and breakfast all day. Fresh juice was excellent. I be had too many Chinese chicken salads to count, but this was definitely one of the BEST! Great concept with order at the counter and then find a seat. Our order was delivered... More

Some good food, but a little on the pricey side. Wasn't super busy and I got my food fairly quickly. I ate here twice and enjoyed it.

We ate here for breakfast twice during our trip to San Francisco. The restaurant itself is a mix between trendy and rustic, and it has a great atmosphere. It is very family friendly. The main floor and the loft both have seating available. We loved eating in the loft and overlooking the restaurant. Although it gets very busy for breakfast,... More

This is where we ate breakfast most mornings. The food and service were good, but like most things in San Francisco, it was more than we normally pay in other places.
