We were looking for somewhere to get a light bite to eat in the evening and found The Grove. The atmosphere was buzzing inside and we were given menus straight away. You order at the counter then find a seat and there are plenty. There's a lot of choice of food, I had the enchiladas which were very tasty. I... More

There are 3 Grove Restaurants in the San Francisco area. We went to the Yerba Buena location. Locals lineup here at lunch. This is partly because you order your food first and then are given a number and your drinks and then you find a seat and your food is brought to you. The portions are large, lots of choices.... We had breakfast there this morning. A nice friendly place and prompt ordering at the counter. You then have to go to the coffee station to collect drinks. I waited so long by the time they were ready my wife was half way through her breakfast an mine was getting cold. I then tucked into my eggs benedict to find... More

My husband and I came upon this restaurant by accident and went in to view the menu. We both fancied a salad so ordered a different one each and weren't disappointed, they were both gorgeous. We also had a glass of wine each, him red and me white. These were not so good and expensive for what they were.

OK, I really wanted to rate this high because the food was really not all that bad. I had the cobb salad and a cup of the chicken noodle soup which was the soup of the day and my hubby had the apple chicken salad. The lavender lemonade is a must try as is the blueberry pie. You stand in... More

I went there for lunch with a friend last april. The first thing I have to say about this place is that I really liked the atmosphere ith the tree and all the lights. There sandwiches that me and my friend ordered, one with turkey and the other with the beef, were both very tasty. When I'll go to SF... More

Came to SF on business and read the reviews on this place. Lunch was great, service quick, and they have a good selection of beer and wine. They played an eclectic range of music, all of it good imho. Good place to sit and people watch. I would come back.

Step 1: Grab a seat outside. Step 2: Order some bacon wrapped dates. Step 3: Share with a loved one.

Came here for dinner during a 1 night stay in the city for business. Was not disappointed! Kind of different/casual way to order, sit down and they bring foot to you. Beer and wine are available and food selections are creative, casual and very inexpensive and most importantly delicious! Breakfast available all day! Loved it! Will be back

We were just arrived in Frisco and we found out we did not have breakfast included in the hotel. Fortunatelly we ended up at the Growe where we had fantastic meal in a very nice environment. We could not have yougurt and smoothies but the rest was perfect.
