Fresh Brrakfast All Day

This is a regular weekend spot for my wife and I. Delicious fresh ingredients on a very California menu. The fresh advocate and hash browns are the way to go.

Great selection of fresh and unique breakfast foods served by an etraordinarily friendly staff. They managed to make a western omelet taste unique and fresh! Some of the best Hollandaise sauce I have ever eaten

A cozy pub with a nice interior and friendly service. Nice 60's music. It's not cheap, but the cappuccino is very good and the meals (for other guests) looked good with nice portions.

Had a piece of pecan pie and carrot cake with coffee after a Jazz Center show. Order at the counter and have a seat. Loved the cozy, casual seating areas; some tucked away so you can have a private conversation with your date. Plan to come back for the amazing breakfast.

This casual restaurant is a place to linger and chat over good food and drinks. The Cranberry Black Tea Sangria was very refreshing and our small group enjoyed the fresh salads.

Because of the reviews on trip advisor and the proximity to our hotel, we tried The Grove for an early dinner. It was chilly outside so I ordered a bowl of chili...it was spicy but good and filling. I also tried the pecan pie...it was good but not the best I've had. We liked the warm, comfy setting with good... More

They serve breakfast all day long . We arrived for dinner around 6:00PM and my wife ordered the bowl of Vegetarian Chile which was very good served with sour dough about $7.50 . I had the chicken enchalada and black beans about $12.00. The beans were great a little so icy which I like with tortilla chips . It was... More

We dined here twice when staying at The Palace. Delicious drinks, salads and macaroni & cheese. The outdoor seating was lovely. Great feel to the place and very fresh food.

It was a long walk to the Undefeated Store in Hayes Street. We came all the way from Union Square. But what a nice surprise it was when we arrived there. This is a very hip and nice hood, with all kinds of hip and trendy clothing shops and restaurants. We ended up at The Grove. Some lemonades in huge... More

Neighborhood Profile
Hayes Valley
Chock full of designer boutiques, art galleries, funky shoe stores, and great restaurants, it’s hard to imagine Hayes Valley once languished in the shadow of a major freeway. Its removal allowed for the creation of an attractive boulevard on Octavia Street with a community park at its center and dozens of trendy businesses to satisfy visitors looking for a stylish respite.
