Neiman Marcus at Union Square in San Francisco is known for "delicious" high end designer shoes, clothing and fragrances. Who would think anything differently for their restaurant? High end (expensive), yes! Delicious, NO!!! Heading into the City for a nice lunch and to enjoy a holiday symphony was the target. Surprise reservations were made in the Rotunda Cafe of Neiman... This was a pleasant surprise and well worth the visit Service was good attentive and speedy despite being busy. Food was tasty and different and freshly prepared. The "bread" roll is special and worth the visit alone

Marvelous setting! The typical Neiman Marcus bread rolls & butter were absolutely delicious. I opted for the Seabass, which was delicious. We came for lunch on a weekday and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. Not too bad and well worth it!

Rotunda was open late for the holidays so was able to get in tonight for an early dinner. Great views & service. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was excellent & it came with sweet potato fries. Great wine list too.

If you're hair is quaffed in subdued "silver-blues" & your tired after a ghastly few hours shopping for Chanel - then pop-in for a proper bit of yo Grandma's version of fast-food, Neiman's style. Seriously, if you have lunch here and you're under 90, 2-things will happen: 1.) you'll get a sudden urge to shop for porcelain tea-cups; ditto bidets;... More

I haven't gone here in years because I considered it the territory of Ladies Who Lunch -- you know: grey-haired women in Chanel suits. But my sisters were in town and we wanted something festive. The Rotunda was exactly the right choice. The tea sandwiches and scones were delightful. Not BIG but really nicely presented with excellent tea. You know... More

The former City of Paris is now glamorous Neiman Marcus, but the holiday tradition of an enormous, sparkling Christmas tree in the store rotunda has been continued. At the pinnacle of the tree is the gorgeous Rotunda Restaurant where hot popovers with strawberry butter and frothy champagne pair beautifully. The views over Union Square ice rink make this a perfect... More
