It's a good restaurant, however you can find many nice place in San Francisco with more cachet. The decor is nice, but you can walk by and that would do. However if you feel like having a nice lunch, with a nice ambiance and feel like you are in Paris, that will make you happy.

I took a beloved family member to the Rotunda Room for a special lunch. The food is good, but the impatient service -- does anyone really need to be corrected by waitstaff when spending $25 on a salad -- put a damper on lunch.

One of the prettiest settings in San Francisco for dining. No question. So many stores have given up their opportunity to include a civil space for light dining. What a great experience they have in this store! The shopping hustle is light background noise (coming from below the cafe) and the activity in the restaurant/bar is quite entertaining. We stopped... Shopping in San Francisco so what better place to take lunch. Classy setting, with very attentive servers. A pretty good lunchtime menu, with quality food, served with style. Definitely a place to chill after/during shopping.

Located on the 4th floor of Niemans this is an upscale restaurant. Nice table settings with white crisp tablecloths and napkins. We had a crab & shrimp louie. It was excellent. We, with reservations, which I recommend, were promptly seated. Service was excellent despite a very busy restaurant. Nice menu selections. Expansive wine listing. You will enjoy your visit to this... We stopped for lunch. I had a club sandwich which was good. The popovers are always perfect! The views are so pretty. The service was exceptional. The rest rooms are in the front near the bar. they were clean. My husband tried the mussels with linguine. He loved it. We would go back as we had a good experience.

Before we boarded the plane to leave San Francisco, we had lunch at the Rotunda. Beautiful setting, delicious popovers before our meal came, and great service. I couldn't decide whether to admire the dome or the brides modeling dresses across the street at Vera Wang's. But then lunch arrived, and it was delicious. A fun way to end our San... More

The Rotunda at Neiman Marcus serves good light snacks and sandwiches that are always a good respite from shopping in a Union Square. The storied Chocolate Chip Cookies are still very good. So is the lobster club sandwich. I hope you like vanilla. That was the only flavor when we were there last. But with lots of fresh strawberries on... More

Sorry could not resist title, but this café in a store (if British - think Fortnum & Masons) is definitely for ladies who lunch and there were lots there. It is very pleasant, the service is good, the food is nice - overall the whole experience is nice! But it is a café in a store. Not quite sure why... More

AMBIANCE: Our party of six went for afternoon tea on a Saturday afternoon. We made reservations weeks in advance so we were seated right away in a corner booth. We tried to request window seating when we made our reservation but were told window seating was for parties of four or less. I personally didn't enjoy the ambiance because I... More
