Ok we are all always looking for that amazing hole in the wall place that combines amazing food with exceptional value in a quaint comfortable setting. Lers Ros offers 2 of the 3 above stated qualifications. The food is excellent the price is medium to extreme in terms of value and the setting is comfortable and basic. Located in a... More

I am not an expert on Thai food especially hailing from the Midwest. I've always enjoyed trying new things, and this menu did not disappoint! I asked a young man who was waiting to be seated what he would recommend, and he said the pork sparerib appetizer (kra duk moo tod). These were quickly devoured, and the spicy sauce on... More

Located in maybe the poorest SF neighborhood "Tenderloin" you might rethink your decision to visit this restaurant, but the food is worth 2-3 blocks of quick walk. Tried fired frog & shredded green papaya salad. Both were delicious. Will definitely return.

The food is actually worth the sketchy area and the terrible service... despite making a reservation we had to wait for 40 minutes. Food came out of the kitchen sporadically and not in the order that we asked for. Servers didn't seem to care. Having said that, the food itself is excellent. Very good Thai curries, crispy quail, larb salad,... More

Stick with chicken and Sake. it can get any better than that. The price is decent and the food is very good.

I would go back again and again. There is so much to try and the preparations are are much more unique and tasty than your average thai restaurant.

The green curry with eggplant was the star for me closely followed by the som tom koong yang. The curry in particular was wonderfully complex. Would love to return many times to slowly work my way through the menu.

After walking down a slightly doggy street and ready to do a walk by incase something seemed off , it turned out to be my best meal in Frisco. Having eaten in many Thai palace through CA it had good Thai food, served in an authentic style, very good service and something genuinely calming about the place without any props... More

I had never eaten true Thai cuisine before but Lers Ros Thai came highly recommended by a friend who lives in San Francisco who said it's some of the best Thai food he's ever had anywhere in the world. Needless to say, Lers Ros Thai had a lot to live up to. On a Sunday night the place was packed,... More
