Spicy ahi does not mean tuna from a can. I can't believe these people put out sushi like this. Secondly they are dishonest about their charging. I got take out and didn't leave a tip but was charged for giving them a 27% tip. Seems excessive for 2 sushi takeouts. Disputed and they kept fighting it, so gave up.

We stopped here for lunch. We had some good sushi and vegetable tempura as part of the meal. The sushi was well done and some of the better pieces I've had. I also had the Orion beer as part of my meal. Service was fast and very helpful with splitting tabs.

Small place. Good luck trying to get a table during lunch! Service was prompt. Sometimes it was hard to get their attention. Food was good. I had the salmon teriyaki. Nice big piece of fish. I would recommend.

Great busy and buzzing little place to have a quick lunch or dinner where your Coke comes in a can. Many locals and Asian visitors, which is always a good sign. Of course we had to try a selection of sushi and we were not disappointed. Great value for money and we especially liked the soft-shell crab roll.

A fortunate combination of good Japanese food (my favourite's the tori kara-age [fried chicken] donburi [on rice] and US generous portions. Very good service. If you're dining on your own, the bar is nice and friendly.

It is a small little place so be prepared for the wait. We waited outside in the cold for a good 20 min before being seated, but I can see why the wait. Food was fresh and good and I tried their beer and oh my, that really hit the spot. Service was just okay...the girl got our order wrong... More

I have to say, this place is pretty cheap for Japanese food, considering the location is at downtown, you would expect it to be expensive but pretty decent -- compared to the Japanese restaurant in Japan Town! I love their combo -- the soba noodles with tempura and rice for about $15, definitely worth the money! I love their sushi... More

I stumbled at this place by sheer accident. Looked fairly cosy and authentic, so we decided to give it a go. Restaurant is super busy, but staff was exceptionally accommodating and professional. I scanned a bit of other people plates while walking to our table and I already liked what I saw. Food here is really fresh and authentic and... More

We came across this place after dragging our kids many blocks only to find the Chinese restaurant we were looking for was closed. We saw Dojima-Ann across the street and since it looked packed we felt the menu was worth the look. The space and it was very busy. Took awhile to have our order taken (maybe 15 min) but... More
