It was almost too much, all fresh and very good. i enjoyed every piece of... More

We made reservation to try this new place. We got there a little late since we were looking for a parking space. Once arrived and were standing there for 10 min no one approached us. Finally someone came in and said that reservation was given away absolutelly hasn't offered us any other option. The place is not friendly and very... More

I love sushi and try it everywhere I go (as long as I'm coastal) and a family member recommended we stop here and meet up for dinner. It was delicious and the staff was friendly and intuitive to the fact that I had an 8 year old with me. It's very small and intimate. Loved it :)

Went here for dinner after walking by and checking out the menu. It proved to be an absolutely lovely meal. We had some dishes which I'd never think would be available in a sushi restaurant. Pork belly and Mackerel in Miso were two stand outs. There is a wonderful range of Sake available. They chose a lovely fresh and dry... More

So, since our son knows the owner, we walked in with no reservation (still had to wait 40 minutes) to this hoping sushi spot.. wow, what great fresh fish (hope this is for everyone, and not because our son was a regular there).... differ rolls, unusual pieces , great presentation, and absolutely outstanding service and food. I am usually leery... More

We went here with a few colleagues for a work dinner and it was an awesome experience. Loved the fact that the restaurant was small which allowed for a nice conversation. The food was superb, and the prices - more than fair. Especially liked the spider rolls, the Otoro rolls (wrapped in mango!) Highly recommend this place.

Otoro Sushi, San Francisco, has very good food. We ordered sashimi, sushi, seaweed salad, sautéed mushrooms, and miso soup that my friend and I shared. The sashimi/sushi was quite fresh; we especially liked the salmon and the scallops. The sautéed mushrooms were excellent. The 2 waitresses were attentive and polite and the prices were reasonable for SF. The place is... More

Otoro Sushi is now our "go-to" dinner place when we see a show at the SF Jazz Center -- and we see a lot as we are members. The staff is friendly and accommodating (the manager held our table for an extra 20 minutes when I called and said we had hit terrible traffic). The tempura is crispy and delicious,... More
