A small place that was packed on Saturday night, even at 5:30PM. Got there a little late for a 5:00 reservation but they seated us anyway. Very fresh and well presented. It took a little while for the order to come even though we were the first customers to arrive. Within 10 minutes the place was packed and humming with... More

I went on a date night to Otoro. We got there a tad before our reservation but had to wait extra 15 min for our table. The place is tiny so plan for additional waiting. The menu selection looked OK but the food, fish quality was not that great. Unfortunately we did not experience friendly service so don't think I... More

Absolutely bar none my favorite evening in San Francisco. The establishment is petit, the waitstaff swift, and the food delectable. I believe we ordered three times just to extend the delicious experiment. Really worth trying for a table. There isn't an ounce of pretension, which I definitely appreciate.

Excellent, fresh fish. I've been twice and the quality of sushi is spectacular and consistent. The service is excellent, as well, and they even let you bring your own bottle of sake. Not sure why you'd need to, though, as their sake selection is top notch. Can't wait to return.

We stopped in without a reservation on a Friday evening (would suggest making one) and they seated us at the bar. Even though we waited a while for the food, it was well worth the wait, fresh and well made rolls. Would definitely return!

Tiny place, lots of neighborhood people come get takeout. Counter with about 8 seats. Tables seat about 20 people. So make a reservation. The sushi is fantastic. Silky, fresh and tender. Made me so happy eating here. Large sake selection. Be sure to peruse the specials board on the wall. Lots of neat additions there. Excellent friendly service.
