very nice wine list. The meatball starter was delicious, 2 good sized meatballs, covered in a rich tomato sauce. The beet salad was served with a horseradish "foam". My husband was happy with his salad, it looked tasty, he ate all of it, so I guess it was good. We shared the truffle rissoto, it was sublime

Our first visit to San Fran. Seven Hills was rec by some family. We would NEVER have chosen on our own. So glad we went. Atmosphere was comfortable, service was attentive but not pushy. Dont be intimidated by the menu, ask. The staff is happy to explain their specialty. Its all local and fresh. The CF wine is perfect. We... More

My husband and I loved this restaurant!!! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The service was great and the timing of the meal perfect. Now on to the absolutely incredible food.... Do not miss the Ravioli Uovo!!!!! This amazing pasta creation was filled with housemade ricotta cheese, spinach and an egg... More

Great place. Food lovely & nice atmosphere. Our second visit to San Francisco & as we enjoyed meal first time at this restaurant my husband requested we go back for his birthday meal. It lived up to expectations - great meal and lovely table in window. Many thanks Alexis & team.

We noticed this restaurant on the route from the cable car and decided to go for dinner. They were very gentle even from the mail contact and managed to have a table for the same night although it was full. There is good energy about this place, very cool people, and the food is also great! One of the best... More

We had octopus, smoked trout, tagliatelle with shaved truffles, and lamb chops. Everything was good, but I would pass on the truffles, which were expensive and really had no flavor. Tables are very close together, which for some reason is always so noisy in this country, whereas in Europe, they often put tables very close yet everyone speaks softly. We... More

Very unique menu with dishes you will not find anywhere. Take the recommendation of the great staff and share plates. Tables are close- tough for intimate conversation. A must for SF visit.

This is one of the finest restaurants I have ever eaten at. The owner (Alex) is really on the ball. Do I smell a Michelin star in the near future?

OMG, this restaurant is the bomb! A small, quaint, enjoyable, dining experience. I have to say that we had probably one of the best meals. The pasta is exquisite. The chef is a genius. I will be going back and recommending, this restaurant, to everyone I know. You will need reservations, it is well worth it.

Make sure you book well in advance, this is a very small, but very excellent restaurant. Friendly, unassuming service. If you appreciate good food, good wine and good service then go to Seven Hills. And even better - get the cable car there, it stops right outside.
