That was my first time in an Italian restaurant in San Francisco and I was really impressed. The quality of the food was really good and the service as well. The restaurant is more or less small with just a few tables, but I really like that crowdy environment. It's close as beeing in Italy.

I had the privilege to eat at Seven Hill this Saturday evening. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The owner Alex treated us as family. The burrata salad was outstanding, as well as the maccheroncelli pomodoro Hands down one of the best in San Fran!

At first we were sorely disappointed that our favorite restaurants were already booked for the evening, but what a lucky break: we discovered Seven Hills! I must add a disclaimer: Seven Hills gets booked up too, but by taking an early dinner time and booking a week in advance we were able to get a table. We can't say enough... More

The outstanding food was worth the wait after a couple of order mishaps. The staff was very apologetic and have us a free drink and dessert. I HIGHLY. Recommend the quail!!

My wife & I are from Chicago. When we travel we like to find local non touristy dining venues. We really enjoyed ourselves at Seven Hills. We had a 9PM table. We got there early and was seated right away. The local wines were very good and reasonably priced. We enjoyed a Pinot Noir. We had the New York Beef... More

The food was so delicious I could have eaten it again the next day! Ricotta stuffed squash blossoms, meatballs, the best steak my husband decided he had ever eaten, and pasta with tomato and chilli. Really, really good. Restaurant is small and table close together. Only downsides were that the door remained open on a breezy night and there was a... More

What a great surprise. Delicious delicious food. Very very small intimate restaurant with about 15 tables. Food was made meticulously and had wonderful flavor. We will definitely be back here again on our next trip to San Francisco. Need to make reservations for this restaurant. Casual and elegant.

Seven Hills restaurant is in the Russian Hill section of San Francisco. It's cozy, attractive, & comfortable with a very friendly wait staff. The food was delicious in part because of it's farm-to-table vegetables and home-made pasta. They also had convenient half-plate entrees to match individual appetites. The prices were reasonable and the wine selection extensive. The seating was European... More

An fantastic menu at an affordable cost. The desserts are amazing. Excellent choice for a pleasant dinner with your couple. The atmosphere is great and the service is excellent. Be sure to make reservations in advance since the place has just a few tables.
