Very interesting, unusual and delicious menu. The staff were pleasant and efficient. For such a quality in every other way I would have expected slightly more elbow room

I went to the restuarant with a friend. It is a must that you reserve seats as it is always crowded there, all night. Don't do romantic dining there as it is not for. But for foods and the service, it is terrific. I tried the tasting menu. Most of things are the new experience and I can feel the... More

We had a great dining experience. We tried a lot of different dishes because the portions were small and had to order several. They were all really good and tasty. The ambience is very casual. I really recommend it.

Went here on a business dinner with colleague after reading reviews. Drinks were fab, food was a mix of crazy flavors and what seemed like the chef trying too hard on presentation. Truffles dish was good. Overall ok but acquired taste...

Amazingly accommodating service, an amazing fusion of what at first appear to be conflicting flavors, to produce the most extraordinarily wonderful tastes & experience. Could not recommend it enough; you MUST visit!!

I hope the creation of this wonderful restaurant is as exciting an adventure for the chef as it is for the adventurous diner because what's going on there would keep me coming back for ever (except I live in West Chester, PA). Our reservations were at 6:30, the same day we landed, so it was 9:30PM our time. The location... More

Our group of four had some trouble deciding between the tasting menu and the regular menu, so we decided to order everything on the regular menu and add in the abalone from the tasting menu. Everything was wonderful. The portions are very small, so we were all able to get a nice taste of everything without gorging ourselves. The service... More

We tried the tasting menu and it was really a surprise! Very creative dishes with fresh ingredients in a refined setting. The ambience was charming - intimate and informal- and the service great. A bit expensive, we recommend for special occasions!

A foodie friend from Australia recommended this place to us saying it was excellent. He was so right! Everything was superb from the moment we arrived. The non-descript exterior was intriguing. The interior styling and ambience is divine, the wine list, food (very clean, fresh and creative) and service all outstanding. Parker our waitress was extremely friendly, professional, knowledgable and... More

Staying in Mission District

Neighborhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighborhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the country.
