Anniversary tasting menu dinner

The service staff was excellent and took the time to make the anniversary special. I am not big on seafood because of allergies but there was plenty for me to eat. The food is visually magnificent and the tastes were great. We did the tasting menu and ended up trying almost the entire menu. I... read more

Beautifully prepared food, gorgeously presented and delectable! Highly recommend this place. Take Uber to and from as cabs are hard to find.

A prefix without the outrageous price of some of the other restaurants of this caliber with a option to choose your own courses. Between my companion and I, we were able to try half the dishes offered. Great selection of wine with knowledgable and friendly service. The dinning room filled up fast and everyone seemed to really enjoy their selections.... More

This is up there with the most memorable meals of my life- in a good way. We went there and somehow were able to wrangle a reservation at the last minute to sit at the bar. My husband and I actually enjoy this seating arrangement because we can chat a little more about the food and wine with the server.... More

An excellent option for having a good and modern menu, a little expensive but fine food. I had the beet salad, and after i has the smoked oysters, both came in small portions. Unfortunately their wine list is reduced. Quite good service. I can't have an opinion over the desert menu because they didn't sound appealing to either one of... More

Commonwealth is one of the few restaurants on Mission that actually has its own parking lot. It is simple in design with white walls and low lighting. The tables are a little bit cramped because it is so small. The service was excellent and the food, delicious but unusual. The portions are very small as is the menu. For the... More

Very interesting, unusual and delicious menu. The staff were pleasant and efficient. For such a quality in every other way I would have expected slightly more elbow room

I went to the restuarant with a friend. It is a must that you reserve seats as it is always crowded there, all night. Don't do romantic dining there as it is not for. But for foods and the service, it is terrific. I tried the tasting menu. Most of things are the new experience and I can feel the... More

We had a great dining experience. We tried a lot of different dishes because the portions were small and had to order several. They were all really good and tasty. The ambience is very casual. I really recommend it.

Went here on a business dinner with colleague after reading reviews. Drinks were fab, food was a mix of crazy flavors and what seemed like the chef trying too hard on presentation. Truffles dish was good. Overall ok but acquired taste...

Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighborhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners.
