Good place for brunch or lunch, or dinner, if you're in the Union Street area. I had the Eggs Benedict - nicely done and the wait staff was concerned when one of the yolks broke just as they were ready to serve me. I was okay with that, but they wanted it to look good too, so they took it... More

A month ago, calling from Sarasota, Florida I made a Brunch reservation for twelve family members in celebration of my husband's birthday. It was a warm sunny Sunday afternoon and the Union Street Fair was in full swing! We couldn't believe the crowds and blocked streets. Our table, perfectly situated in this bright cheery French bistro, was waiting for us... More

Just a week after we had eaten in Bouchon in Yountville (which we felt was pricey) we came here with friends who live in SF. Wow what a nice ambience, real French, we had a great table up the stairs. We started with a bottle of Champaign and some very nice oysters, great, fresh. Following that we ordered our appetizers... More

A simple, casual, French-American restaurant, good location, nice atmosphere, good food, reasonable wine list, excellent service, I would definitely recommend this very solid and reliabel restaurant

The hostess was fantastic, somehow on a crowded Friday night we got same wonderful crescent-shaped booth table that we got last time we visited (from out of state). Then oysters arrived almost immediately and were the best oysters we had ever eaten! The sommelier was very attentive, too. Roast chicken and the Lamb sirloin were both totally divine. Wish we... Missing home we couldn't resist. Our waiter was very good and the food came without delay. The restaurant is friendly and pleasant. The girls ended with Chocolat Chaud which was yummy and pronounced the best ever!

Better than Bouchon at half the price. Brunch on Saturday is a great value. Very attentive staff. A must go.

We went for Easter brunch, which just meant the prices basically doubled. However, it was a beautiful day and we were able to dine outside on the patio, and we did not mind paying more for the fixed price menu. I had the block French toast. Unlike any I've ever had before and delicious.

A pretty cool place with an attentive staff. Classic french menue but with a US-twist to it, portions are generous and the dry martini is great. Lively and works for families and friends alike. Get a corner table if you go with family and start with a drink in the spacious bar if you dont.
