Good food and good value

We dined here one evening - 2 adults, 2 children - and had a very pleasant experience. We skipped starters, opting for just mains. There is a kids menu, but one of my kids (8 yo) decided to order off the main menu. Both myself and her decided on ribs - which came with a choice of 2 side (beans... read more

This was one of the best surprises during my last trip to California. While walking around we went to Ghirardelli Square to grab a bite at McCormick & Kuleto's but the wait was way too long for famished folks. So we wandered through Ghirardelli Square looking for someplace to eat before looking elsewhere. We saw the Pub and looked over... More

This was a typical American dining experience offering the usual, wings, skins, salads, grills and burgers. A newly opened establishment with outside seating. The staff were wonderful and very helpful and was reasonably priced.

While in staying on the Wharf in San Francisco, we ate at "The Pub at Ghirardelli Square". The Pub is right on the South end of the Wharf overlooking the Marina which had a beautiful Schooner docked during our visit. We arrived about 5:00 and the place was practically empty which was nice, so we got a nice window seat.... More

I loved the layout of this place...the food is fantastic, great selection of beers on tap, the price is reasonable and the location is wonderful. The atmosphere is bright, vibrant and clean. There is enough TVs around to watch games in between conversation.

Came here for a late night dinner with my family a few days ago and ordered the pull-pork sandwich with a gluten-free bun. The pulled-port was outstanding, very lean with some fat and a yummy sauce. Unfortunately the gluten-free bun was pretty horrible and I ended eating around it but the salad was outstanding with very fresh greens and served... More

Where else can you go at midnight and get kitchen fresh Mac N Cheese. We showed up a day early at the Zephyr hotel around 11:00 pm, starving. We were looking for something more then bar food but the were directed here as one of the few places in walking distance that would still have an open kitchen. The clerk... More

I really enjoyed this place! It's a fun atmosphere for solo travelers, couples, friends and family. I ordered the pulled pork and it was delicious. There's an extra spicy kick, but it's not too spicy so don't let it scare you. The mac and cheese was to die for! As a solo traveler, I appreciated the very kind staff. :)

Don't be turned off by the touristy location or the trendy interior. This place serves great BBQ cooked low and slow with house made sauce. The only somewhat disappointing meat was the sausage, had a spice that didn't belong. But the ribs, pulled port and brisket were top notch. The sides were also first rate - a little more "gourmet"...
