Probably the best thin crust pizza I had in San Francisco. Their vegetarian eggplant parmesan was also delicious.

While one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had, will not please all. THE POSITIVE: Stefannia, cook and mother of the family staff, prepares the best thin crust pizza I've ever had and a rarity in San Francisco, Note that the defining ingredients are served fresh and cooked appropriately (if at all) so that they retain their delicate taste,... Came here based on the reviews with some co workers got a good table, but one of the girls with us has an allergy to gluten. We thought that there would be some dinner entrees with chicken, steak, pork, or fish that she could enjoy. There was nothing which was fine, but the owner’s son was trying to talk over... More

Loved this little restaurant. We shared the apple and cheese salad - very light and very good. We also shared an order of lasagne and a pizza with sausage and onions. All were so fresh, delicious and tasty. Our waiter was one of the son's of the owner and he was so nice, friendly and fun to talk with. The... More

I'm blown away. I have read a bunch of reviews and enough of you loved it so much I had to go. I'm so glad I did! It's a funky place that draws you in with family warmth. Run by two brothers, mom (genius) and dad. You fall in love right away. We had wine to start, a great white... More

Definitely the best Italian spot in San Francisco without question. The secret is out!! They certainly live up to their promise: the food is comparable and in my opinion better than several spots that I've visited in Italy! To be brief the lasagna is to die for, and the pizza is tremendous! The recipes were done to beyond perfection! The... More

Fantastic crispy thin crust pizza. They got our order a little wrong, but the pizza was so good we did not mind. Friendly, but not great, service. We never saw our waiter after he delivered the pizzas; we would have ordered more wine given the chance. I would go back.

BaoNecci is a small, Tuscan-themed corner restaurant famous for its authentic Lucchese-style thin-crust pizzas. Pizzas (12 inch) and other entrees average $20 each. Beer and wine are served and there are two outside sidewalk tables. It's in the heart of the city's beloved North Beach Italian-American district. Finally calling up my dog-eared bookmark after two years, we had a chance... More

We found this place by sheer good luck. This family-run restaurant featured thin crust pizzas with amazing combinations. There were about 15 choices of pizza combinations. Also on the menu were delicious baked pasta. I had the lasagna in which you could taste the smoothness of the bechemal sauce. Even the salad was great. Fresh romaine, pears, walnuts tossed in... Last Monday, February 24th I had dinner in Café Baonecci with my son. We both loved the food and ambiance of this tiny cozy restaurant.
