Seriously this place is perfect -- if you're feeling down -- a cupcake from Cako will make you feel like all is well in the world again. Get the one with sprinkles all over it. It will change your life -- and make you feel like it's your birthday :)

I had the rich & famous cupcake which is chocolate with fudge icing. It was delectable! Service was great; very friendly staff. Will be back...

We had the lemon cupcakes with blueberry compote filling three nights in a row. Their macaroons are good, too!

I was at a conference and this little bakery was by the hotel. I thought I had seen this store front on Food network but was not for sure. I thought might as well give it a try. The young lady behind the counter recommended the strawberry cheesecake cupcake. I am glad I took her advice. It was not over... More

While we visited later in the day, the two cupcakes we purchased were not as moist as I would have expected - it wasn't as if they were stale, it was as if that was how they were made. The best part was the icing, but when taking the time to stop and eat a cupcake, you really want it... More

Struck gold when discovering this adorable, up-scale, cupcake "boutique!" I am so fond of the cupcakes and incredible staff, I'm "offended" by any negative comments. I'm a cupcake "connoisseur" and these are the best of the best!! Visiting Cako daily will what I miss most when I leave at the end of this week!

We tried the salted Carmel and vanilla mini cupcakes. Both were moist and flavorful. I also had the full size strawberry cheesecake cupcake and it was delicious. These hit the spot.

If your in the Union Square area then it's worth dropping in here for a cupcake. They may not be the biggest in the world but you probably wouldn't want more than one in a day. Rich, fluffy & delicious. All for $3.25 each. Plus they put them in a small box or plastic carry case so you don't smash... More
