This place has the best pizza, service, and also a great atmosphere! The meatballs and green beans are a definite must for appetizers. If there is a wait, it is well worth it! We'll definitely be back!

We were looking forward to have those famous wood oven pizzas actually those pizzas were not so good after all, they were soft and mushy and lacking of cheese. The service was terrible, our waitress must have been really confused because she messed up our order and had to be remembered of everything two or three times... for example she... More

Great food, ate outside. Husband and son had Detroit style pizza, very good. I had a cafe Americano and split a sea salt caramel mocha panna cotta...absolutely delicious!

This place has the best pizza in the SF area, period, hands down, full stop. Several styles to choose from, all amazing, delicious and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is fun and lively, the service prompt and friendly, and did I say that the pizza is amazing? Not to be missed -- but check first to see if they are open,... More

I had read about this pizza place through a few different sources and thought it would make a great dinner for us. We both walked away saying that it was the best pizza we'd had since Rome. We went on a Friday at 8:30pm which was a high peak time: the wait list was 2 hours long. I stuck to... More

Went because of trip advisor reviews. Arrived at 6 and there was a 90 minute wait, which is crazy (they don't accept bookings, again this is crazy in this day and age). I wanted to walk but as we were discussing 2 seats became available at the bar so we took it. The woman (on the larger side with a... More

We had to try the world class pizza .. if you want to learn about pizza go here. Compare crusts baked in different ovens, different flours even. What we tried was very good. A classic Margarita cooked in the wood fired oven thin and perfect. I'd like to go back to the International Pizza School he has and learn how... More

We loved this place. We were told we'd have a couple of hours to wait for a table but if we got a seat at the bar could eat there. We struck lucking, 15 mins later a group sat next to us got up and left and we had our pizza on the bar. I had a coal fired new... More

We were wondering around North Beach and decided to try Tony's. We've heard so much. Sunday afternoon around 2 and there was a one hour wait! They're awesome and took our phone number. They called in just under an hour to let us know they were ready. We had the Margherita pizza which is all the rave. From the crust,... More

We were in North Beach and stopped by Tony's for some Pizza. An hour wait for two turned into a 10 minute wait for two so we had to down our drinks across the street at Original Joe's. Had the meatballs for an appetizer, they were amazing! The bread they bring to the table was delicious. We ordered the famous... More
