This place is busy for a very good reason. The food is great, and the choice is outstanding. Perfect for food geeks as you even get to choose the heat of the oven your pizza is cooked in! I wouldn't have a starter though as the portions are huge

Waited outside 30 minutes before it opened and it was worth the wait! I love how Tony works the oven right in front of you; you wouldn't even notice unless you googled a picture. He is very talkative and loves to talk to you if you're sitting in the bar area. Best pizza I have ever had and if you... More

These pizze have never seen an Italian chef... They were ok overall, but for sure not worth the hype or the waiting. This restaurant would have a hard time getting customers if it was in Italy.

I called an order for a large cheese pizza. I was told 20 min and when I arrived 15 min later it was sitting behind the counter ready to go. When I got back to the house 5 min later the pizza was cold. I'm thinking when I called they must have had one already in the oven or something.... More

This restaurant was very busy when I went and it just got busier the longer we were there. After waiting about 10 minutes to be greeted by our server our order was taken. Another 10 minutes later a different server approached our table to ask what we ordered. It wasn't in the system. We ordered again. The food finally came... More

We waited over an hour to be seated and the wait time only increased as the night went on. We ordered a Delorenzo's style pizza and a coal-fired pizza. The coal-fired pizza was especially tasty but both pies were very small for the price. We eat at the "real" Delorenzo's in NJ and Tony's version was good but not quite... More

Had the pleasure if watching the World Cup Final here. Very busy for a Sunday afternoon but staff calm and pleasant and service well paced. Pizza fantastic and not expensive. Please try if you're in Little Italy. Highly recommended!

Took grandchildren for early Sunday meal on recommendation. Knew could not pre book so rang first and told no problem with getting a table if went right away. Turned up within half hour by taxi only to be told the wait would be 1hour 45mins but to get takeaway next door as food was the same. Found ordering a rude... More

Ton'y Pizza Napoletana is one of those go to places that you have to eat at once in your life (if not once a week) whether you are a San Fran local or a visitor to the Bay Area. Reservations are not accepted and the wait can be long, but it is well worth it. Simply stroll around North Beach/Little... More
