This place is very good. The specials, named after movie stars, are very good value especially with bottomless tea and coffee. The selection of tea bags was exceptional.

Posters of actors from yesteryear give this cafe its name. The menu variety is good as is the food. The service is very quick and always with a pleasant smile. The only drawback I saw was that keeping the drinks topped off was very slow. Whatever you can imagine for breakfast they serve it here. Yes even a smoked salmon... More

We dined at the cafe early on a Sunday morning. The service was friendly, prompt and efficient. Food was at our table within 10 mins of being ordered and was of good sized portions. The four of us tried the scrambled eggs and bacon (X2), blueberry pancakes and fresh fruit and yoghurt. All were excellent as was the quality of... More

Great place for breakfast. Ate there early each day when place had mote locals than tourists in it. Attention service from great staff. Good food. Very accommodating with special requests. Fresh squeezed OJ, yum! So good compared to standard cookie cutter Bfast places and menus!

Friendly staff, including the barker outside <chuckling>. The food was darned good... mostly typical breakfast fare, but very well prepared and wallet friendly. Ate there the last two days of our visit, and will go back, if we get back to SF.

Came here with my husband for a Sunday brunch. Inside was already full but it was nice enough weather to sit outside. I had the croissant b-fast sandwich and I believe my husband had the french toast. The service was good and the food was yummy. Most meals come with a generous helping of fresh fruit on the side. I... More

This is a great place for breakfast! I had the eggs, french toast and croissant sandwich - each on different occasions, of course- but every time there was a ton of food and a huge pile of fresh fruit. They had "meals" that included fruit, coffee or tea and eggs, croissant, pancakes or french toast ranging about $10, but it... More
