Small place. Good service. Breakfast portions are quite large! So go hungry. The fruit that comes with all the breakfast is amazing! Soo fresh! Wish I could have taken some home!

My wife and I really enjoyed our breakfast @ the Hollywood Cafe. Had to wait once we arrived at 8:30 am, short wait and well worth the wait. Service was good, coffee fresh and hot. Fresh fruit was very good, ripe and sweet. We both ordered the Vivian Leigh,Eggs scrambled with chopped Bacon and mild cheddar cheese on a grilled... More

We visited San Francisco in August and were so happy to have found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. We ate there twice but would have come back every day if we were in the area. Every dish we ordered was delicious and came with a huge combination of fresh fruit. The complimentary sourdough toast with the homemade jam was a... More

Having researched my trip to San Fran the Hollywood Cafe came up several times at the top of people's lists for breakfast on TripAdvisor, so we decided on our first morning there we would give it a try especially as were only staying round the corner. We got there early (luckily as it got very busy about 15 minutes after... More

Such and awesome breakfast in San Fran! Totally worth the 20 min wait. While waiting in line, we were drooling over the choices that the other outside diners had ordered. We had the crab eggs Benedict with fruit and the chicken sausage omelette with the vege and bacon hashbrowns. The portions are so large that we could have fed 2-3... More

Great little cafe for breakfast right in the heart of Fishermans' Wharf. It's popular and you'll have to queue but don't let that put you off. The staff are all friendly and helpful and look after you well. Portion sizes are enormous so think about sharing if you're not used to starting the day with enough food for an army!... More

Hands down the only place to have breakfast when you are at Fisherman's Wharf. Great food and great service. But either get there early or be prepared to wait. We love the place and our willing to wait....twenty minutes roughly at prime time. So if you don't mind the wait, you'll love the experience. Ohh...and the Dungeness Crab Benedict was... More

Went to Hollywood Cafe following great reviews on trip advisor and we were in the general area, well worth taking the detour, excellent food, generous portions and good value for money. The staff are welcoming I had Vivian Lee special highly recommended almost finished it all despite large portions too good to waste
