We stayed at the Hyatt right across the street and saw that this place was highly rated. It didn't disappoint. As others have said, don't let the line scare you because it moves quickly but make sure you sign-in. We had everything from the yummy breakfast sandwiches, to omelets, to pancakes. The only reason that I am not giving it... More

I know why they've earned no. 2 on Trip Advisor. Quite an operation. I had the chicken sausage omelet (c.a.s.) with fruit, which was plentiful and fresh. You will not be disappointed.

The concierge at our hotel recommended the Hollywood Cafe for breakfast. We arrived to find that that was a queue of people waiting for a table (something I have not really seen before) and from that I deduced that it either had to be exceptional or the people are disillusional. Luckily we didn't have to wait long before a table... More

Great breakfast spot near the wharf, but one note: the bathroom is around the corner and not pleasant. Very small place. When you arrive, sign in for seating, and names are called from the list as tables are cleared. The outdoor tables are small. Five us crammed into a small outdoor table and the dishes are large, but we made... More

My mother and I ended up here for Sunday brunch on a recommendation from a desk clerk at our nearby hotel, and we were amazed! The food here is incredibly hot and fresh classic American diner breakfast and lunch, but it is addictive! This place is nothing special to look at, but the food is to die for. I had... More

We ate here three times on a recent trip to San Francisco. There was always a queue to be seated, we waited roughly 15 mins. The service was fast, the staff friendly and the food was excellent, especially the fruit. Most people left with a container as the servings were huge and impossible to finish.

We ate here twice on our visit. My daughter and I shared the Eggs Benedict which comes with a huge slab of hash brown and a side of toast. We ordered a side of fruit. That turned out to be a huge bowl on top of a round plate both overflowing with fruit. We couldn't even finish our meal. We... More

Excellent food, great fruit, but it is crowded and they are trying to turn tables quickly. When I was served my food the plate was put down so fast food was falling off, onto me. Server did not even pause, just rushed off. However our breakfast was fantastic and a great value for what you get.

We were in San Francisco for 5 nights and made 2 detours to Hollywood Cafe fro breakfast... Don't be fooled by the queue it moves fast and we sat inside both times and found it cool enough with a breeze coming through the open windows. We were seated within 10 minutes each time... As you would expect the portions are... More
