I decided to go to the hollywood cafe during our vacation. we went to have breakfast which was really good, I ordered the meat lover omelet and a yogurt fruit plate with oats. The omelet was soft and the layers of meats really went well together it was so delicious. Our server was so nice and really made us feel... More

We came here for lunch, after seeing the very good reviews on Tripadvisor. It was very busy, as we expected, and the queue was very quick. The cafe was tired in need of a revamp the kitchen area looked messy and dirty. The food was the usual American big portions, but it was very unappetising, Tuna Panini served with curly... More

We had a fantastic breakfast here. Portions were huge, so much so that we did not need anything for lunch. I had pancakes and fruit and my wife had a hash, and we had food for 3 or 4 people (which is not necessarily a good thing as waste going back to kitchen was out of this world).

I had the meatlovers omellet. The omellet was huge and the side of hash browns over the entire plate! Come hungry because the food is so good you'll want to finish it.

We went here for a late breakfast and had to wait for about 5 minutes for a table, they have a system where you pop your name down on a waiting list when there is a queue which worked well. The menu was good with a good varied choice. I opted for Marilyn Monroe and my husband had the 'Eggs... More

First time in San Francisco and we were looking for a breakfast cafe. Actually this location popped up on Google when I searched "Best Breakfast Cafe's near me". I'd say it's the best breakfast Ive had in a very long time and I am from Texas lol. We were greeted with a smile upon arrival and were seated almost immediately.... More

My partner and I visited the Hollywood Cafe twice on our recent visit to San Francisco. There is a bit of a wait (around 20 minutes) but it is completely worth it. The portions are huge and the quality is unmatched anywhere else we went during our visit to the West Coast. Highly recommended!

If you're hitting San Francisco, don't hesitate... go to Hollywood Cafe! Local atmosphere, great service, awesome food. Avoid eating all the bread in the beggining and be patient with your food... it's excellent. Try the eggs benedict with crab... best ever!!!
