I had not read these reviews when we decided to stop in for breakfast. I did not realize that this place was so highly rated. I now know WHY. Good food, good prices. We were very pleased to find this small but great place to stop in for breakfast. Made to order and cooked as ordered. Breakfast was very good!... More

This small little breakfast (and lunch) place knows how to get people out in a hurry. Not many tables inside, some outside. In mid-January, 9:30 am, mid-week, there was no wait for an inside table. Servers were VERY attentive - everyone worked every table, taking your order (at least 3 different people asked if we were ready to order), re-filling... More

This is a very small restaurant that mostly caters to locals for breakfast and lunch only. The food is excellent. The portions very large. The prices can't be beat for San Francisco.

Outstanding breakfast! When we arrived this smaller café was extremely full. We were told it would be a 10-15 minute wait. Ten minutes later our party of eight was seated. The service was quick & efficient and we had a great breakfast before leaving town. Highly recommend this café to anyone who has a schedule to keep. Watch how the... More

We visited after seeing rave reviews on trip advisor. Seating was limited and it was a busy Thursday. We sat in the heated outdoor sidewalk cafe area. The service was fast and friendly. The food was good but not spectacular. The BAT omelette was very good. (Bacon, avocado, tomato). Hash browns were huge rectangular flaps that covered most of the plate.... More

I could not understand how this was rated in the top 5 of all 5000 + restaurants in S.F. Once I went I understood. This is a breakfast place. It is small and if you are not early - your waiting in line.

Hollywood cafe was so highly rated Just had to try it. We got there around 1:30 pm about 30 min before closing. Due to the time we ordered lunch instead of breakfast. Good fresh food but lunch based upon my opinion and the plate I had was average. Staff was very attentive and did not make us feel rushed even... More

Fabulous food - the best breakfast ever! Try the Vivian Leigh - pancakes plus a ton of incredibly fresh fruit. Staff are lovely and warm. But go ready to queue outside ( seats are provided). Even the outdoor tables were full on a cool foggy day.

Wonderful breakfast! French toast and fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, toast, all really great. Cute place as well. Very large portions to start your day in the Bay!

Had the pancakes with bacon and egg (and Maple Syrup which was an added extra) and the portions were good. The service was great. Would definitely recommend for a filling and quick breakfast.
