Nice mexican food, cool location

The access to the restaurant is not straightforward but once you are in the place looks pretty and friendly. The food is good, some Mexican typical recipes revisited with creativity. The service is fast and you can try several things at a reasonable price

Fresh, zingy mexican, amazing salsa ! The place had class, sophistication, good wine, amazing fish tacos. We were in San Fran on our honeymoon, and we will remember this place for years to come. We ate mexican most days all over California, Arizona,Nevada. This came as second favourite on the list

We have been to Nopalito three times this year and hired them to cater our daughter’s wedding. We will keep this review short. Their food is simply wonderful. All of it. Literally everything on the menu. And….they did a simply spectacular job of catering a very complicated wedding. And the price that they charged was extremely fair. We highly recommend... More

I stayed nearby at the Metro Hotel and the wonderful woman who checked us in told us about the restaurant. She was right: The food at Nopalito was great. The drink I ordered was called Diablo and it was strong and delicious. It was not a vegetarian restaurant, but they "veganized" the Tacos dorados dish for us (took off the... More

our fourth and final dinner in San Francisco and we did not have reservations. this was very close to our hotel so we walked over and put our name on the wait list( a Tuesday nite). the place is very popular and we waited a good hour and 1/2-we went to wine bar around the corner while we waited. finally... Pleasant Atmosphere, serving size small and the flour tortillas were not homade.Despite the coffee not coming out when ordered, the flan was surprisingly good however in my opinion I would not go back for the main meal.

It took multiple trips to San Francisco to be able to get in at Nopalito, where the lines are usually insane. This time we went at 5:30pm and were rewarded with no waiting. We shared multiple dishes to try different things and the food was wonderful. A lot of it was Mexican classics (carne asada, mole), but the ingredients are... More

A diverse, fresh and delicious menu. Homemade chips, sangria and margaritas are amazing. Small venue so make reservations.

Place was super great. Got in at 630 no problem, just walked up. The Apps are good, the Main Courses are good and the homemade popsicles are super delicious for dessert. Worth popping into. Reasonable prices all around.,

Nopalito probably offers a much better experience than the one evening we visited. Unfortunately it was our first evening out after arriving from east coast and we had to wait over an hour and half to be seated even after calling to be added to the waitlist an hour earlier. Very generous portions -- we chose to eat family style... More
