Went for supper , ordered 3 dishes, the food was tasty but portions are small. I think priced are comparable to other Chinese restaurants except for the portion size. Service was okay, will try Chinatown on next visit.

The food was just okay and overpriced. We ate off of small saucers. I think you eat off of saucers to appear you have more food than you actually have. I was in a party of three and they added 15% gratuity on my bill. I told them that tip is usually added for groups of six and it's not... More

Sadly we didn't read reviews before we ate at Tian Sing. All of the complaints that have been voiced were experienced in our visit. Minimal portion sizes, mediocre food, exorbitant prices for the amount of food, attempt to double tip. The restaurant looks very nice. We should have been tipped off when there were no people inside eating. Live and... More

We ordered 3 dishes and one dim sum; the portion size is surprisingly SMALL and there was not much beef and seafood in my beef and seafood plate; ordered asparagus is not asparagus -- waiter called it 'Chinese asparagus', a small bowl of white rice is charged $1.50; luckily tap water is not charged. After I walked out the door,... More

The food was great and it impressed my guests from China! Candace was awesome to work with and she was able to create a special menu for my group! The restaurant is very nice and great for groups!

honestly, the only thing that impressed me was the speed at which our orders were served. we were really starved and looking for asian food while touring san francisco that even the high prices in the menu posted outside did not deter us from entering. another plus for this resto is it's location - next to powell street where the... late afternoon was very quiet and the service and food excellent. The bill was less than I would have expected too.

when we visited this place, at first I was surprised by the modernness. Normally the chinese restaurants are all the same. The service was ok, but not great, because we had to asked them every time to come to the table if we wanted more drinks or a dessert etc. The food was ok. But then we recievd the bill... More

This restaurant serves dim sum all day long. The variety of dim sum dishes seems to be a bit on the modest side. You can get better Chinese food elsewhere, but this is not a bad choice for Union Sq. Of course, you are paying Union Sq. prices.

I can't complain about the food which was nice but the service was not to standard. Then we found that we had been automatically charged with a 15% service charge. There was only two of us dining and no warning anywhere that this was the practice in the restaurant. When we enquired about the 15% service charge and if we... More
