Dim Sum Selection

Looking for a quick and easy Friday night meal so tried Tian Sing. Whilst looking at the menu I was shown a Dim Sum trolley with what looked like many tempting offerings. Choose some pock dim sums to go with my main of beef and stir fried vegetables. Food was served quickly and was well cooked.

We were strolling past around 6pm on a Tuesday and decided to go in for dinner. It was really quiet so quick to get a table and be served. We instantly had a trolley roll up with some delicious appetizers before the next trolley came only a minute later with dumplings, and they were hot & delicious. Within 3 minutes... More

I went for lunch to Tian Sing Chinese Restaurant with my wife and eight year old daughter on 2nd January 2015. This restaurant is located at 138 Cyril Magnin Street in San Francisco, not too far from Union Square. We arrived after 2pm and the restaurant was almost empty. Two tables were occupied. The décor of the restaurant was modern... More

A number of years ago friends and I came to SF to shop and then dined at Tian Sing. We all still remembered how good the food was (Peking Duck ~ deep fried Crab ~ dim sum). We were in town for Chinese New Year and walked around an hour trying to locate it. When we asked a worker on... More

I LOVE Dim Sum, and this place did not disappoint. Dim Sum is served all day, or you can order off a menu. I always love the cart! There is a wide variety of choices, and most of the items are cooked immediately. I was told the chef was originally from Yank Sing, the most famous Dim Sum restaurant in... More

Great for a single traveler. Wonderful service and tasty food at a good price. I didn't have an entree as the dim sum filled me up. BBQ pork buns, great dumplings, and even some vegetables so make me not feel horrible about all the carby-goodness.

Pleasant enough but nothing very special. Standard Chinese menu without any surprises and the food was without flair but honest and not unpleasant.

Dim Sum lunch - TASTY - service LOUSY Only in this retaurant did I ever have the misfortune and in another set of circumstances it may have been quite humorous to have four servers not be able to deliver the goods or simply take an order for a party of two Hostess asks two persons on entering "Two?" and seats... I was really disappointed in the food. The service was terrible. I asked for another plate and the waiter rolled her eyes. The beef and broccoli was bland. God forbid you ask for a straw b/c apparently it's a hot commodity which they don't like to part with easily. They include gratuity in their check... which may be why the... More

Unimpressive experience at this Union Square area Chinese restaurant. The food was below average. There was an extra charge for rice, which is unusual if not unheard of for a Chinese restaurant. There are plenty of better options in the neighborhood.
