Recommended by a friend - we are so glad we dined there. The restaurant is a bit noisy but has a great vibe. A very eclectic menu - we ordered all appetizers/small plates & then didn't have room for a main dish. Definitely try the mushroom soup, warm olives, brandade beignets. Extensive wine list and our server was very knowledgeable.... More

Pretty good food. Especially pate du canard and steak tartare. Loud place. Not really for a romantic date setting. Lots of suits going after work meals or business meetings. Great wine selection.

My husband and I decided to visit this restaurant because of their reputation and wine list. It did not disappoint! We got one of their "last bottle" wines and then followed the recommendations of our wait staff as far as what to pair with the wine. It was a perfect match and the food and service were excellent! We had... More

I chose this restaurant because of its proximity to our hotel and knowing of Michael Mina's reputation for fine dining. With no signage out front, we weren't sure we were in the right place until we walked in the door. Modeled after a train station and using props and décor to keep with the French railway theme, the feel is... More

We had a predinner drinks here. They were delicious! Between the bunch of us -- I tried the good neighbor (YUM), Soggy Dollar (sweet and spicy), and the Russian Tea Service (also delicious). We also had the toasted nuts and the selection of three cheeses. The walnut bread and spreads the cheeses came with were really fantastic. Service was slow... More

RN 74 was always a favorite of mine with it's creative seasonal menu, extensive wine list and outstanding service. After the last few visits here, it seems the magic is fading away. The last memorable meal here was Easter brunch two years ago when everything was outstanding from start to finish. Staff now acts like you're privileged to be dining... More

We were tentative about spending out 'one' big night in San Fran here given the reviews were either exceptional or the opposite but we had a lovely meal. The sommelier gave an excellent recommendation that was exactly what we were looking for. The food was of a high standard and service was good too. Not as nice as Michael Minas... More

The evening was a blast our sommelier David was amazing. Following his recommendations the food pairings were perfect. The food was cooked perfectly and our server was well versed in the menu. Kuddos to all involved at RN74.
