Since this place was the just down the street, and Morton's is a known quantity and the bar area was attractive and visible from the street, and we were hungry we stopped in for Happy Hour fare. Service was good @ the bar, and the filet sandwiches were good and tasty. Our drinks were well prepared and timely served. So... More

In SFO for business and my companion suggested dinner at Morton's, always a good choice, in my limited expereince. We were not disappointed. Excellent service. The food and wine were wonderful. All up to the expected high standards of their locations around the country.

The steaks are cooked the same way in every Morton you will visit. I asked medium rare but got it on my plate almost well done. So there must be something wrong with the way the prepare it. The sidedishes are rudimentary and not very tasty. The asparagus were just gigantic. Please some more delicacy and proudness !!!

Very short walk to JW Marriott, we had heard about Morton's and wanted to try it. Definitely enjoyed professional quality and service for our stay. It's an "old school" steak house with the ambience and portion sizes to prove it. Looked around and half expected to see Dino, Frank and Sammy in a corner booth... Fresh oysters were very fresh,... We have been to Morton's without reservations and of course, we would have to wait about 40 minutes. This is not a big deal but the hostess was not really nice, in order we almost left. We were offered a small table with high chairs in the bar, where we could get the whole menu and then things changed. The... More

The steak was ok but priced too high for the quality. However the service was excellent. Wine selection was great and the atmosphere was good.

We decided the try the bar menu at Morton's when we in SF last week. They have a happy hour menu with "bar bites" until 6:30 pm. They have a nice selection for $6 and $7. We tried the lettuce bites(a salad with blue cheese) and the prime rib sliders-both were very good. The bar atmosphere was very nice and... More

We go to Morton's each trip to San Francisco. The steak is very good. I read a lot of reviews which have criticized the meat. Order a rib eye medium doneness or less and you'll never be disappointed. Excellent marbling and very flavorful. Perhaps the best oysters in SF and we've tried a lot. But the lemon soufflé keeps us... More

We ordered salmon and chicken, which we know you're not supposed to do at a steakhouse. :) But they were delicious! Our waitress was friendly and courteous, made us feel very welcome. We would definitely visit this restaurant again!
