Well executed, tasty food in upscale room.

Excellent lunch where everything was fresh and tasty with prompt and friendly service in an elegant, quiet room. Relatively expensive but real value for money. We had the Dungeness crab roll with great duck fat fries which was a model of its type and really generous.

I had lunch here while waiting for my room to be available. What started as an annoyance turned out to be a lovely lunch hour. The staff was helpful and nice and well-trained. The food was unexpectedly good-- I had the won ton soup and the Asian Cabbage Chicken Salad. It was really good and well-done. I would definitely go... More

Service friendly and prompt. Atmosphere was upscale. We got lucky and got one of the 2 table/window view windows, which was quite nice.

Hubby and I stopped in the lounge for a drink. It was St. Patrick's Day Weekend, and I wanted to celebrate with a Guinness, but did not want the mayhem of the pub crawlers. Finding a table was hard because there was only one window table which was occupied. The other window was blocked by the staging of the evening... More

I loved the prompt service and small snacks. Feels like home away from home... Very spacious setting and you might run into a well known public figure or two if that's your sort of thing...

Ate here after arriving late evening for a meeting in the Hotel. The ambience is wonderful and the service was excellent. Beware is is very pricey for bar food but the food was delicious. Had a wonderful glass of red wine (18.00) and a personal pizza (15.00) but was able to expense the meal due to business travel. I don't... More

Great Place to stop off for a quick refreshing drink on the way to the next stop. Conveniently located off the main lobby - and next to the free lemonade & limeade! Neat bar & better than anticipated drinks.

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique neighborhood decorated with colorful shops, historic streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands, tourist shops, jewelry stores, fortune tellers, temples and restaurants come together to create a world unto itself in this historic neighborhood.
