A combination of unique and traditional chinese dishes. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is huge and can be very noisy, but we lucked out and got a table in the quieter part. Large variety menu with family share style portions. Good wine list and excellent suggestions by the waitress. Everything was delicious. A surprise ending with the cotton... More

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in San Francisco! Food is always amazing. Can be a little loud inside. Great take-out at the back door to enjoy anywhere!

Came here for lunch. Server was very informative and helpful as it was our first time. The chicken claypot was awesome and the oysters were incredible. Pricey, but very good.

Food was great, service was incredibly slow. The vibe was awesome so it made the extended experience better. We actually times our second round of drinks and it was 16 minutes and that did not count us waiting for the waitress to cme over and take our second drink order. Would go back since the food was delish.

We really liked this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice but they were way to crowded when we had lunch there to the point that the waiters (depiste being repeatedly asked if we could get some coloring crayons for our child) forgot to bring them to us. We had to pick tu up ourselves. The Vietnamese imperial rolls were excellent. Definity... More

Mr. Sothoth had a business dinner for clients here recently - the second such dinner in as many years. Even at 5:45 on a Tuesday night, the place is packed to the gills and the staff seem to be struggling to keep up. Long wait to get a drink order in; longer wait to get drinks delivered for half the... More

I went to Slanted Door for my birthday celebration. It was absolutely packed. The menu was extensive, and dishes were served family style. The food was very good. I was not at all pleased with the staff. At the end of dinner a lovely desert with birthday candle was brought to the table. I thought it was a gift from... More

Went here last night, large restaurant, great ambiance, tasty drinks and outstanding food. However you could probably have the same food in the city for 30pct less. The view makes up for the price difference. However, since there is an automatic 20pct gratuity, the servers are not incentivized to give you service worthy of that gratuity. It started great, but... Important celebrity foodies think THIS is the best restaurant in the USA? Do they own it? Because, if this is the best the whole US has to offer, everyone better get out their cookbooks, and start making themselves dinner. Yes, much of the food is good. But, it's not spectacular overall . I had some scallops that were outstanding, but... More

Dinner was worth the effort to get reservation . No soda but the pineapple spritzers were excellent. Our waiter was odd in the beginning almost abrasive but as night wore on he loosened up . We ordered crispy rolls , spring rolls , cellophane noodles , shaking beef , scallops and rice. For dessert the cotton candy and churros were... More
