Visited here while on honeymoon and I can honestly had one of the most enjoyable meals ever! From start to finish it was fantastic the cocktails were fab, the food sooo delicious and great recommendations by our waiter/server who was the most attentive friendliest guy ever. We decided upon one of the special starters of tongue and it was to... More

The food was delicious, the service impeccable, location fantastic. This restaurant was our favourite while in the USA for 3 weeks and would highly recommend to family and friends. A must is the Confection Plate to finish off your culinary treat. Must book beforehand as is very popular with the locals as well as visitors.

2 American friends took us to this restaurant for lunch. They love their food & wine and I can see why they picked the slanted door. Oysters, chicken clay pot & citrus trifle all first class. Very busy and lively atmosphere & the service was top notch.

We could not fault the food, service and ambience. In fact we returned the next day for lunch. Great gluten free options.

We were very much looking forward to our Easter Sunday reservation at The Slanted Door. We started with an order of oysters that were some of the best we have ever eaten. After that, the food was extremely mediocre. We ordered the Shaking Beef, Chicken with cellophane noodles and a side of bok choy. Aside from the very pleasant and... More

We were on a quick weekend trip for a wedding so I picked one San Franciso restaurant to try based upon a friends recommendation. We really wanted a location near the water. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was great. We shared entrees family style and enjoyed everything including the special drinks. The unique style of asian food was... More
