Always great service and food

Great quite restaurant with very attentive staff to help ensure you dining experience is maximized! I was able to enjoy a nice lunch with a client and speak without any concerns of noise or rude guests

My expectations from this restaurant after having a room in the hotel was high, first i visited for breakfast it was in a single word bad. The tastes are bad, the service was terrible, the ordered things like omlettes arrived wrong. Then we tried for a dinner, (we thought that breakfast was bad coincidence lets try) but thie time we left... More

I have eaten twice in this hotel this week. I wouldn't recommend it. The food is ok, if you are really hungry and can't face going elsewhere. I had a light bite here for dinner and it was not something I would want again. And it is very overpriced - I had a breakfast here of an omelette, 2x orange... More

After a trip across country and staying at the Westin, we decided to try the Oak Room on our first night in San Francisco mainly because of its location in the hotel. We had trouble reaching the restaurant to make a reservation from our room and they simply ask for us to leave a message. I then went on Open... More

Ate here two years before our first visit. This was in the Westin where we were staying so super convenient. This is a beautiful old wooden paneled room. The one drawback is that it is in the hotel so it does not have any windows. We got the fixed menu again. I love the crab chowder, need to find a... More

My family and I dined at the Oak Room while were staying at the Westin San Francis San Francisco. The restaurant was very classic with dim, dark colored wooden furnishings and comfortable chairs. Both the hostesses and waitress were very courteous and efficient. We had a casual dinner which consisted of some soup and salad for the appetizers, and pastas... More

The staff was so great, and when I ordered off the menu, it came quickly. Yes, you pay for it, but it is a Westin. Can't say enough about the staf here.

The décor is a bit overwhelmingly OAK kind of dreary. But their breakfast buffet and service were excellent. Everything was delicious and fresh and an impressive variety. Our server was also very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast for 2 people came to $72

We stayed at the Westin ST Francis and dined at the Oak Room. The decor was warm and inviting and the hostess greeted us in a friendly manner. Our wait person's name was Nicholas and he was excellent. We dined from the "lighter fare" menu (which I can't find anywhere on the web). We started with a watermelon appetizer which... More
