We were looking for a reasonably priced music experience that started around dinner-time. We found yummy food (the ribs were so meaty!), good beer on draft, and a great blues band performance. The staff was friendly as well. It was a great night out!

B&B is a fantastic little music venue that also does (passable) Soul Food. For this particular weary traveller it soothed, energised and delighted, while throwing in a decent plate of Jambalaya. Not super cheap (it's a block away from Union Square) - but if you're in need of a little soul, and let's face it, who isn't, it's going to... More

This is a really, really good live-music club (mostly Blues, but with other genres mixed in). Very good sound system in a intimate setting with a large stage. Tables are very close together, typical of music clubs everywhere. Adding to the atmosphere, the club is in a downstairs space. Performance prices are very reasonable. As an added bonus, the food... We visited San Francisco in 2012 and had the urge for some food and blues, I think we went on a Monday night and it started off with a guy on trumpet and a guy on keyboards, had a few drinks and some food, the Brisket as amazing. As the night went on other musicians just showed up and joined... More

We decided on this place after looking for somewhere to see some cool blues and grab some good grub while we were at it. This place had good reviews and I liked the look of it online. Our mind was made up when we met a guy down at the cable car depot who was going there later that evening... More

My wife and I finally made it to Biscuits and Blues which has been on our "we really oughta check it out list" for a long time. Why do we only go to blues clubs when we visit Chicago or New Orleans when B&B is right across the Bay? We had a great time listening to legendary slide guitar blues... More

We went to the Biscuit and Blues bar to check out the live music and southern style cooking. There was a $15 cover charge and we were there in time for the 7 o'clock first sitting. The drinks were a reasonable price for downtown San Fran. We had the Gumbo and Shrimp Fritters to start. The fritters were really good.... More

I went to B&B to listen Ray Charles Project on the 13th of December with my husband. To take good seats, it is recommended to have meals, too. We decided to have dinner. Appetizer was shrimp and corn fritters. I ordered catfish and my husband did meatloaf. The appetizer had nice texture combination but it was bit greasy-need more skill... More
