This place is a little sketchy from the outside, but we went there at the suggestion of the front desk staff at our hotel. There is a cover charge to enter and the bar / act is in the basement. It tends to be loud and the place is "intimate." The act I have to say was quite good and... More

We went to the Stevie Ray Vaughn show what a great night we went early so we could have a meal before the show. A great meal and the beverage list was good. The show went for 1 hr and was continuous what a great way to spend an evening. There are two sessions per evenng.

Saw a great blues, Jazz band and were allowed to stay on for the second set, very reasonable entrance fee, good variety and quality of food and good waitress service. recommended.

Booked this really more to hear the blues music...this was good, but food I maybe would give it a miss...nothing to exciting and choices available some where off the menu and what was left was pretty boring,

Returned last week-second time in two years. Still the place to go for live music and a decent meal. Same thing happened this time though - had to send back my meal because it was cold. 'Crawfish etouffee' was the right portion and very tasty. Great spot - lots of couples, small groups, appreciative crowd. You can feel comfortable here... More

We saw two mid week acts, great venue, southern style food and beers. Only negative was the lighting for reading the drinks list and menu was poor. Would have loved to be able to attend on the w/e to see the place full and really bopping.

My kids, teens, love blues and jazz. Unfortunately "that" music has be relegated to bars and clubs that don't let anyone under the age of 21 in. Biscuits and Blues was an exception. The early show is all ages. The act, Eddie Neon, that played, while not nationally known, was good. The cover was $15 per person which was on... More

The woman at the reception obviously wishes she were elsewhere and is very unfriendly, sometimes rude. Food is greasy and nothing special. They do have good musicians from time to time but the low ceiling means acoustics are poor. I do not recommend this palace.

It's a great place for live music. It's small and intimate. I was worried it would be too loud but they control the volume for such a tight space. If you're going expecting great food you might be disappointed. Stick to the basics, like fried chicken, and you will be happy. I must say, however, that the Caesar Salad I... More

The food is decent. i wouldn't call it outstanding but matched with the entertainment, you are guaranteed to have an enjoyable evening. The atmosphere is casual and jeans are not a problem.
