Loved the small nightclub feeling, dinner was good, Jambalaya and corn and shrimp fritters. the blues music made it feel like stepping back in time. We enjoyed it. The cover charge was a little high. But still a good evening.

Situated one block from Union Square, Biscuits and Blues is a great gem of a venue. It is an intimate blues club, with superb food. We pre-booked online for an early show. Great selection of drinks, but the surprise is that the food is really, really good. My wife had cajun jambalaya, whilst I had blackened Cajun catfish and sackotash.... More

This was our first time to San Fran and wanted a night out with music and this place delivered. The food was fantastic, drinks were tasty and strong, and the music was fantastic. This was a memorable evening in San Francisco.

First, everyone knows that "cozy", when used with a music club, is a euphemism for "really, really loud." The front desk offers earplugs; I recommend you take them. The menu is basic Southern - ribs, fried chicken, catfish, all of which were above average and fairly priced. Not much here, though, for the calorie conscious. Drinks and beer menu are... More

This place is a little sketchy from the outside, but we went there at the suggestion of the front desk staff at our hotel. There is a cover charge to enter and the bar / act is in the basement. It tends to be loud and the place is "intimate." The act I have to say was quite good and... More

We went to the Stevie Ray Vaughn show what a great night we went early so we could have a meal before the show. A great meal and the beverage list was good. The show went for 1 hr and was continuous what a great way to spend an evening. There are two sessions per evenng.

Saw a great blues, Jazz band and were allowed to stay on for the second set, very reasonable entrance fee, good variety and quality of food and good waitress service. recommended.

Booked this really more to hear the blues music...this was good, but food I maybe would give it a miss...nothing to exciting and choices available some where off the menu and what was left was pretty boring,

Returned last week-second time in two years. Still the place to go for live music and a decent meal. Same thing happened this time though - had to send back my meal because it was cold. 'Crawfish etouffee' was the right portion and very tasty. Great spot - lots of couples, small groups, appreciative crowd. You can feel comfortable here... More

We saw two mid week acts, great venue, southern style food and beers. Only negative was the lighting for reading the drinks list and menu was poor. Would have loved to be able to attend on the w/e to see the place full and really bopping.
