Crowded tables but fresh ingredients

The food is simple with fresh ingredients but lacks the depth of flavor I prefer in Mexican restaurants. It's on the verge of being excellent, but the tables are so close together, our table kept getting bumped and our drinks spilled by the butt of the waiter serving the table next to us. Our dinner here was fine but not amazing. Margarita was really good but food was just average. With all the choices in the city I would probably try something new instead of going back.

Went here for a quick work lunch. Made to order tacos, burritos and other dishes. Fairly decent food and good if you're in a hurry or in no mood to hang aorund somewhere. Like the mexican version of Nando's.

Great food and service. Seating is crowded and loud. Great variety of food options and drinks. Vegetarian available.

A very busy restaurant due to its central location; make a reservation. A large menu with the usual Mexican fare. Prices are reasonable. Nothing outstanding but good food, good service, and very clean.

Quick and decent, but nothing very special. Very inexpensive and very convenient if you are staying in the neighborhood or attending a meeting at The convention center

Enjoyed a nice, casual late lunch. Easy self-service ordering with food delivered to you via number at your table. Guacamole had large chunks of onion, which was not my favorite... chips were good though. Tacos were above average. And horchata did not disappoint. Overall, this is an ok spot... wasn't my favorite, but I could be persuaded to return. I... More

Tropisueno was delicous mexican. Super accommodating to our 3 kids who all wanted things that were only "sort of" on the menu. They were willing to give them what they wanted. Margaritas were delicious, staff was friendly and the service was quick-but not rushed. Definitely recommend!

The food (Carne Asada) was excellent and the beer on tap was pretty good too. The chips were a bit too salty to my taste, but the salsa was excellent (I especially liked the green one). It seems to be a bit busy at night, but I was lucky to be seated immediately as I was alone and there was... More

Seriously TripAdvisor? Excellence certificate 2014? I understand why this place is popular. It's really bubbly. Tons of people. Long reservation queue. It's clearly a trendy place. I also acknowledge the service is very good and friendly. And the portions are large. But, the food.... the food is very bad. I'm still trying to digest my dinner. And that's what really... More
