This restaurant was everything that previous vistors described. The wait was long and don't forget to go inside to add your name to the chalkboard for seating. We were not disappointed once we were seated. The service was quick and friendly; we set by some locals and they come every Sunday for brunch. The food was amazing and the portions... More

Food is fresh and tasty. Always a line so when you first arrive, be sure to write your name and number in your party on the inside blackboard. If you are solo or two people, consider sitting at the counter for quicker seating. I did this both time and was seated immediately. Service is fast and efficient. Recommend the Grilades... More

The wait was long but with so many huddled together on a breezy, cool morning you had the feeling it had to be worth it! Banana Foster's French Toast on special that particular day made it worth the wait! Delicious!

Great place for brunch and more of a non-traditional brunch/breakfast. They have breakfast food, but with a twist. Different and unique options and specials. Food was very good, but really busy. Get there early!! Portions are large and it is a little on the pricey side, but worth it!

Went here based on a recommendation from the hotel It is a little out the way but the walk just makes you all the more hungry. I thought the decoration on the wall maybe wasn't original but gave the place a really good atmosphere. The food was great, I especially liked the variety of oysters. The Brenda's fired chicken was... More

First of all, unless you are a brave soul you should take a cab to get here. The tenderloin neighborhood is terrible any time of day. Expect to see a crowd - ah, that must be the spot! Walk in and write your name on the chalkboard then settle in for a nice long wait. We waited for almost 2... More

Don't miss this place - a little out of the way, but well worth it! Had the grits and shrimp during the afternoon menu and it was great. My mate had the pulled pork eggs Benedict which blew her away. Very good food a sped service in a unique setting.

The food was very good and plate sizes were enormous, but I don't think I'd ever wait repeatedly to get into this restaurant. Everything on the menu sounded decent and the servers were nice. Prices were reasonable, but again…one time is probably enough.

No way, I'm not gonna waste 1.5 hours waiting for a table; their food is not worth of such that amount of my time. They don't take reservations, they don't take my money. After checking the long lane TripAdvisor took me to Chambers, right around the corner where I got one of the best brunch in San Francisco.
