The dinner was extremely overpriced for Indian food. The food was good but I can't say it was anything so mind blowing that warranted the bill. We had butter chicken, tandoori sea bass, side of white rice, a naan and four drinks and the bill was about $120. The naan was differ and interesting. The food was good but I... More

We ate twice at this amazing Indian restaurant and bar and were certainly not disappointed. The food was first class, the best of ingredients and beautifully presented. The butter chicken and lamb korma dishes were exquisit as were the soup and samosa starters. The staff were polite and helpful while the bar although very busy was a good area to... More

The food was excellent. We started with cocktails from their list of house concoctions. The food portion was just the right size to fill you up without making you feel stuffed. Everything tasted wonderful. Main dished are al a carte.

We enjoyed brunch at Amber which included a broad variety of Indian dishes. Particularly remarkable dishes were the dal, raita, butter chicken, and chana dal. The mango lassi was super fresh and yummy. The chai on the other hand was not. Tried my first mango mimosa which was nice. All in all a very nice meal!

Amber is a terrific choice for Indian food. The restaurant has a nice modern feel, and the service is quick, friendly and attentive. The food is superb, with many vegetarian choices for those seeking such food. I especially recommend the Dal Amber, a lentil dish that is really great.

It is located in downtown SF near Four Season hotel and ROSS. The ambience was great much better than most of Indian restaurants abroad. The veg food was very good. One Saturday when we went for lunch it was buffet. An Indian waitress was little indifferent. Before we could decide for a soft drink she just walked away. After 2... More

Located right behind the Marriott Marquis on a cute alley, my daughter and I enjoyed a truly excellent Indian meal with friends. The place is beautiful and the menu was loaded with exciting choices. Everything we ordered was excellent (especially the butter chicken). Plenty of fine dishes to order, even if not too familiar with Indian fare. The service was... More

This restaurant is situated in Down Town San Francisco. The accessibility is good. They serve very tasty authentic Indian food. The service is good. However sometimes the restaurant tends to get quite crowded and you will have wait for sometime before you get a table.
