Italian 'dim sum' - small plate eating at its best

The four of us were ready to try something new. We had read reviews of the food and were prepared to have a meal where we would share many small plates and a few entrées. We ordered: fried asparagus, arugula & fennel salad, walnut bread with burrata, onion flatbread, frito misto, gnocchi... read more

The main floor is a busy restaurant floor and nice bar with very happy-looking patrons. The bartender there on Sunday night was helpful and friendly. We were a large group of friends and we were put together on two djacenta tables in the basement. It was dark, but it was great atmosphere. There were perhaps three large groups seated down... More

We called ahead an hour before for 5 people and got right in. The pizza was awesome, the spicy meatballs are a must! The trip advisor ratings were what lead us there, and it even exceeded our expectations.

Every Time I walk pass, there is always a line! I wonder - is the food really that good or do people just like standing in line? Of course I was one who tried to stand in line but 2 hrs on a Friday nite did not appeal to me. My curiosity lead me to plan a party here ...... More

OMG...best artisan pizzas, and small plates to share, best meatballs I have ever had, best bread, best dipping sauce. Loved it and fun, friendly, hip atmosphere on Valencia street in the MIssion.

LOVE this place for great cocktails, a quick bite or a full meal. No reservations at night, but you can call one hour ahead and be added to the wait list- definitely recommend this. Still great, even standing at the bar

Great pizza and plenty of other good small plates. This place gets really busy - so sometimes there is a wait for a table. Great bar as well.

Went on a Monday night while visiting SF for the first time. Waited 30+ minutes so I knew it had to be good. Staff, food & drinks were amazing! Waiter brought us over free SF drinks and ice cream. Wish they had one in NYC! Will most definitely be back next time in SF! Recommend the pizza and fried asparagus!

Not many places are open late, well, at least not with good food and aweome drinks. We arrived at midnight and our host was very accomodating in making sure that our entire party was sat next to eachother. The amibient was relaxed and not very noisy. Our drinks were delicious! We all ordered different drinks and neaither of them dissapointed.... More

Fun, buzzy place on Wednesday night around 8:30pm. Expectation: It's a pizza place with appetizers. It seemed all the appetizers we ordered were also stuff on pieces of bread (3 pieces per plate). No pasta. There's gnochi and risotto. No reservations except for party of 6+. Don't sit by the table next to the cash register: Elbow in your face/head... More
