We ate here after a friend recommended it. Delicious sandwiches with a bag of great chips. Lots of choices, great tastes, local CA, company and in a great location in the Castro area of San Francisco. Worth a stop. Right off the f muni train and near lots of other places in the neighborhood. A place and area not to... More

I can honestly say this is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Their secret "dirty sauce" makes the whole thing. It has a bit of a kick to it, which I loved, but wasn't over-poweringly spicy. I had the Matt Cain and have absolutely no complaints but do expect to experience massive cravings later on. The staff... More

Great sandwiches indeed. No seating or service, however if you know that going in, you'll be happy with the giant sandwiches and with the leftover meal you will have from the leftovers from the giant sandwich!

Sandwiches are enough for two if you're not too hungry! Staff is super friendly and happy to help choosing.

Awesome sandwiches!! A wide selection and a lengthy menu will take you sometime to get through to make your meal choice but it's well worth it. The sandwiches are piled high with meat and the fixin's. Highly recommended.

We had three different sandwiches. All too saucy and loaded with dressing. They were out of fried chicken and eggplant, among other things. Chips and surprise lollipop with every sand a nice touch. Not sure what the fuss is about.

Stopped off here for a legendary sandwich, and it didn't disappoint. Not the cheapest. but still worth the $. There was enough for two besides.

We had heard a lot of hyperbole about this place. "These sandwiches will change your life," and "not your mother's sandwich," and "best sandwich ever" etc, etc. It's difficult to go into any sandwich shop as a full grown adult who has had a lot of terrific sandys over the years and be surprised or impressed in any significant way.... We made a point of visiting Ike's place after seeing it on TV - I love a good sandwich but find it hard to find a decent one on Gluten free bread. Well...I can honestly say I was blown away by the 'Tony Soprano' on gluten free bread - tasty beyond belief!!

Ok...so my sister and I are from NZ and wrote down a huge list of places we wanted to go to (food places)..we went on massive food missions...and this was one of them! Although the wait was very long...once we got our sandwich we were over the moon. Seriously - the best sandwich ever. We also got free chips and... More
