Fantastic sandwiches! So far I've tried the meatless mike and the tony soprano (italian), and both were delicious. To shorten the wait, call ahead to place orders to be picked up.

Really good, oversize sandwiches stuffed with good quality ingredients. I have never had a sandwich anywhere near as large as the monstrous 'Kryptonite', which fed me for two meals! My wife went for one of the slightly less ridiculous sandwiches, which she also loved. My one criticism is the lack of seating. There is only room for 6 or 7... More

A sandwich is a sandwich is a sandwich right? No, Ike's place and their "dirty" little secret takes sandwichdum to a new level; very tasty indeed. Now if they could just do something about those long lines/wait times.

Everyone was very happy. Grab a tasty sandwich to go and find your favorite view to enjoy it at. I haven't been here enough to recommend a specific sandwich but I can say out of four people we all loved ours. Enjoy!

Ate the minage a trois with extra halal chicken! Phenomenal! Nice people, great local flavor and lots of character. Line out the door but moved fast!

I can't believe this is 11th overall in San Francisco. Firstly, it's just a sandwich. Yes, a decent sandwich, although my sourdough "Matt Cain" was under filled. Still, the sandwiches are good. But - and this is where I have an issue - the place was dirty. Not the kitchens, granted, but the waiting area. It has a minimal number... More

Sandwiches are incredible No seating. So take your sub and drive to the Golden Gate Bridge and eat an amazing lunch with Alcatraz in the back ground

This was by far the best sandwich that I have ever had. My stomach is so content that I could never eat again and I would be satisfied. I had the SF Cheesesteak and is was made by the hands of god. Based on this review, I hope you all share the experience with the rest of the city. Enjoy!

We found out about Ike's from Man vs Food. We caught the F line street car and it was pretty easy to find after getting off at Sanchez St. We got there to order just before the rush for the lunch queue. Lots of selections to choose from and staff were patient and friendly. We waited for a good 30... More

The Matt Cain on Dutch Crunch with pickles, onion and extra lettuce was amazing! the BBQ ranch potato chips were real nice and a nice ice cold cola to wash it all down. I may have been sitting at the bottom of a stinky tree when I was eating this but it felt like I was sitting in heaven! Best... More
