Fun and delicious!

Wonderful tapas restaurant w/ a Mexican influence. The dishes, which used fresh ingredients, were very creative and delicious! Some of the items we ordered were taco tropical, ceviche and lamb sliders - they were all fabulous! We'll definitely return to Lolo's when we go back to San Francisco!

We went to many restaurants during our trip to San Fransisco and this was agreeably everyone's favorite. The staff was incredibly friendly. We waited briefly as we did not have reservations and they were so accomodating working to find us a place at the bar. The drinks were delicious and the tapas unbelievable- carnitas were to die for. The decor... More

This is a noisy, happening place. But not too, too noisy. But the best happening thing is the beautiful food. Creativeness, freshness and flavor are the keywords for Lolo. The Ceviche was fresh and had a wonderful combination of citrus and the sea. The Tuna Tacon was just beautiful with a rich and sweet flavorful piece of albacore. The pork... More

Ww were lucky to stumble upon this little gem. It didn't look fancy at all but it was super-packed with people so we decided to give it a go and we were lucky to get a table! Most delicious was the tuna taco, followed by the avocado taco and salmon taco. The pig belly was 80 pct. fat and 20%... More

Located in the Mission District, which has some of the best food in San Francisco. It is a colorful restaurant and a bit noisy, but that is part of the charm. It is great to share food with a friend. I went to Lolo's with a friend of mine and the food is to die for and they have the... More

Group of six out of towners visited to catch up. The decor is impressive, the atmosphere loud and boisterous and the food tasty and refreshing. Favourite was the pork belly, followed closely by the fish tacos, asparagus and salads. Having never tried kale I gave to say the manner in which it was presented made the dish very enjoyable. Probably... More

If you like a funky, creative atmosphere, this is your place. The decorating here is so over the top cool and random. We just had a drink, guac and tacos, but all were great. Good buzz.

My fiancé and I came here for lunch after walking around Hayes Valley/ The Mission and on our way to Delores Park. It is located in the heart of a very cool neighborhood. The food was amazing! I had the tilapia tacos and he had the pork, and they were both so delicious!!! Would highly recommend for lunch or dinner... More

Staying in Mission District

Neighborhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighborhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the country.
