High voltage, pure enjoyment

We have been to Lolo several times and keep going back for the great tapas, fun atmosphere and good margaritas. The food is inventive and very tasteful, with lots of options (including gluten-free). While a bit noisy, we like it. It's an easy walk from the BART station at 24th and Mission. We always order too much food, so the... More

Lolo won't win awards for fancy atmosphere, but the food certainly will! This is Mexican food as one might find in the Zona Rosa of Mexico City. Sophisticated, bright flavors, light and inventive takes on traditional dishes. Everything we had was perfectly spiced, cooked and served. Service is professional and efficient, and the bar produces incredible cocktails. The drinks here... More

Wow! Everything tasted wonderful - so many unique flavors!! We had guacamole, two salads and three entrees and everything was great! The drinks we started off with were amazingly delicious. It was my friends birthday and when they brought the desert there was a candle on top (a nice touch). Everything I can think to say would involve a superlative... More

Lolo was full to burst when we arrived, so was glad i had pre booked. Despite being so busy the service was fast and the staff were friendly. We just asked for random selection as everything looked so nice. Everything we had was top notch. Its not cheap and i didnt leave stuffed, but the food was so nice and... More

Loló has a fun, trendy vibe. Yet there is also something very warm about it. I'll start with an anecdote: it was packed when we went on a Saturday night, and there was a line of people at the door. When we approached the desk, the hostess was on the phone. She told a group of people that they could... More

Place is often full but does accept reservations. Food is fresh, nice sized portions and various interesting mixed drinks.

I dined here with friends recently and every dish we shared was delicious. The prices are very reasonable, the service was good and the food is the star attraction. This is an ideal place for sharing the food - it is easy to order doubles for a favorite dish or simply re-order after trying several dishes to get extras of... More

My cousin and I went on a Thursday. Very busy, but we had a reservation. The service was good, and the server's recommendations were on point. A tuna dish, seafood tacos, lamb burgers and octopus. Unique flavors, super tasty, not too pricey. And the atmosphere was cool. Would definitely go again.

Very busy and a one hour wait/ drink in a great bar round the corner as the place is buzzing. Tasty food - small portions but they aren't expensive so go nuts. Curious cocktails included sangria made with vodka. Good service even though the place was full.
