We come to California a few times a year and met up with a friend in the Mission district for dinner. From the second we walked in, we loved this place. Decor is just a hoot, with walls displaying different themes. The back wall is spray-painted care doors. The wallpaper we think is plastic picnic table covers. LOVED the suit... More

Truly one of the best meals and I'm already a nut for Mesican food. We were lucky to get a seat at the bar because of the crowds. Everything we ordered was outstanding and the people so nice. The added bonus is the funky decor ~ love it. Very cool and relaxing place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at LoLo's in the Mission District. The 10-15 cab drive from Union Square was worth it. The food is good and the service is quick. Our favorites were the chips and mushrooms. Vi would definately return!!

Have been wanting to try Lolo's for some time. They just recently moved to a location, and we finally went for dinner. The decor is colorful and eclectic. The staff was friendly and efficient. Yet the food was just not that good. I had a tasty margarita, and we tried four dishes, so I can't speak to everything, but ...... More

Friends took me here. What a hoot. Quite small. Low key, casual. Very friendly. Sort of Mexican influenced tapas. Each of the dishes we had were lovely. Possibly the brussels sprouts were over seasoned. the other dishes were great and they will size them to account for the number of people, three in our case. This is different food to... More

My sister brought me here as she knows I love food, and living in Montana I really miss good mexican food. This restaurant was a real treat with unique twists on traditional food. We loved everything we ordered. I would like to visit again.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Lolo. The menu was eclectic--the Mexican influenced dishes we expected, but then there were the lamb sliders with mushroom sauce beckoning us! Our waiter recommended these, so we had them, following the tuna tacon and the gorditas! Feeling the need for something green, we had first ordered the Caesar salad and... More

Our first night in San Fran was capped by a wonderful tapas meal at Lolo. A nice stroll through the Mission district led us there, and although they had no space, we were offered seating either outside or at the bar. We sat outside, and were attended to promptly. The food was quite exceptional, with the highlight a panko crumbed... More

This place offers a very interesting mix of mexican/spanish fusion like tapas. We found it due to its great reviews, and as we didn't have a reservation we were seated outside under the heating lamps. Our waitress was very nice and natural from the first moment and honest enough to tell us the place isn't famous for its wine list... More

This place was so fabulous. Loved the food, loved the decor, loved the good-looking bartenders and got a kick of out the bill being brought in a miniature boot. Amazing value for money. When you sit down they bring you three salsas and homemade (I think) nachos for dipping. I ordered a cafe con leche i.e. a cafe au lait,... More
