Great spot

Walked in and took a spot at the bar on a Thursday night. Ate Brussel sprouts with hazelnuts, creamy and spicy shrimp with rice, and a beautifully cooked medium rare sirloin. The sirloin came much later than the other dishes, and the cheesy peppers served with the steak were ok but I found it to be... read more

Some of the food we ordered was very tasty, and some was not. My husband and I both got sick the next day, but I don't know for sure it was from here (although it's the only place where we ate the same thing). The service wasn't great, either. We ordered guac three times before they finally brought it after... More

A friend recommended that I go to Lolo on my trip to San Francisco and I am glad I did! The restaurant is very eclectic and cool, and the food is simple, fresh and so tasty! They had a nice selection of drinks and wine. The place was packed and a bit loud but still fun nonetheless. The dessert menu... More

We came here on a Thursday night - it was very busy so we were glad to have made a reservation. Service was excellent and we chose a number of small plates. Everything was very tasty! Definitely recommended. The area is very lively.

We actually went to the Lolo on 22nd street, a block from the one on Valencia. They had the most delicious ceviche and brussel sprouts, we all had a big variety of food. They were so nice and showed us how to make them! Great atmosphere, adorable staff. Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful tapas restaurant w/ a Mexican influence. The dishes, which used fresh ingredients, were very creative and delicious! Some of the items we ordered were taco tropical, ceviche and lamb sliders - they were all fabulous! We'll definitely return to Lolo's when we go back to San Francisco!

We went to many restaurants during our trip to San Fransisco and this was agreeably everyone's favorite. The staff was incredibly friendly. We waited briefly as we did not have reservations and they were so accomodating working to find us a place at the bar. The drinks were delicious and the tapas unbelievable- carnitas were to die for. The decor... More

This is a noisy, happening place. But not too, too noisy. But the best happening thing is the beautiful food. Creativeness, freshness and flavor are the keywords for Lolo. The Ceviche was fresh and had a wonderful combination of citrus and the sea. The Tuna Tacon was just beautiful with a rich and sweet flavorful piece of albacore. The pork... More
