We discovered this place when we didn't want to wait for hours at another breakfast place. We got there just in time before the crowds came. We had the veggie omelet and the blueberry pancakes. Both were excellent choices. The omelet was one of the best I have ever had. We went there on our last day in San Francisco,... More

We were seated immediately when we entered at 9:30 on a Saturday morning. My daughter ordered off the sides me menu: biscuit with gravy and ham slices. I had the California crepe with home fries (about $9.50). The crepe was filled with apple chicken sausage, avocados, onions, mushrooms, & cheese. It was large and delicious. The home fries were served... More

Ate here on a near daily basis during our stay in San Francisco, following a recommendation from the Lonely Planet and would thoroughly recommend it to others. They were very welcoming to our daughter as well, and have a good stock of high chairs. The food is very tasty, fruit is fresh and drinks are tasty. Very good value, and... More

Is there a rating between poor and average? This is what Pat's deserves. After a very long wait they served us pancakes with raw batter in the centre, which isn't at all good. But at least they took them away without complaint and did give a small discount on the bill for the inconvenience. I ordered one kind of sausage,... More

My mom and I came here and loved it. We split a California crepe and had some pomosas (must try these!) I would recommend this place to anyone nearby wanting a cheap and delicious brunch!

We bypassed the breakfast that was included at our hotel and came here 5 mornings straight. Cheery servers, awesome food ( my husband is the King of pancakes and he says these were just about the best ) good menu variety and great location. We are early risers so access wasn't an issue but you could tell the place was... More

We are fortunate here in North Beach to have a lot of great breakfast spots, and this is rapidly becoming my favorite. Fun art for sale on the walls, and the pancakes are light, fluffy and sweet. Gets crowded on the weekend and service is leisurely, so take the paper and plan to relax and soak in the scene.

Hi gang, we ate breakfast at Pat's Cafe 4 days in a row. The first morning I had Eggs benedict with pan fries. The pan fries were not really hot but the Eggs Benedict was excellent. My partner had the California omelet and he loved it! The next three visits I had the granola, yogurt and fruit. There was so... More

A little hole in the wall place. Food expensive and just okay tasting. Even at high noon, the place was not crowded..that said it all.
