the food here is excellent and reasonably priced. the restaurant is clean and pleasant but doesn't quite have the charm of momma's. breakfasts are very good - sourdough french toast, great eggs and fresh produce, good coffee all contribute. i would recommend the place to anyone. near the wharf area and on the powell-beach cable car line. more

I don't know what all the fuss is with this restaurant. Wife and I had breakfast there twice. It was good, but by no means great. If you are nearby, eat there, but don't go out of your way. more

A different style of breakfast diner with quite a bohemian feel to it. We may have been unlucky but our breakfasts weren't as good as others that we had in SF, partly because my partner's was luke warm! more

It didn't look all that exciting from the outside, but the breakfast was as good the other reviews suggested. Worth seeking out. more

My mate and I stumbled upon Pat's this morning - and we're glad we did. It has a warm, inviting atmosphere with nice artwork, decor, lighting and nice jazz playing at the perfect sound level (I'm not too fond of places where the music overwhelms the conversation). I just ordered eggs and toast while he got huevos rancheros. The coffee... more

This cafe came as a recommendation by our concierge at the Hilton Fisherman's Wharf and it did not let us down. Pat's is a short walk from the Hilton and serves a traditional breakfast menu. The pancakes were perfectly made as were the scrambled eggs which had good flavor with a little bit of spice. What really surprised me was... more

Went there for having an early breakfast. We expected to queue but had no problem in getting a table looking outside to the cable cars. Egg Benedict was fantastic (one of the best ever!). The Mediterranean omelet is also highly recommendable. Good value for money. Staff is quick, very friendly and helpful. Just outside one of the cable car lines... more

Pat's is 2 minutes around the corner from the Columbus motor inn so we tried it first when we arrived. We never had breakfast anywhere else! The weekend specials menu includes Pat's hash which was absolutely divine. The food is homely, not fine dining but so so good. Our 7 yr old had pancakes or crepes with various sides and... more
