Good food, nice ambience and family friendly. Slightly on the pricier side but given the quality of the food it is worth it.

Little quirky out of the way cafe. Has lots of art work on walls is a bit 80s 'hippy' in decor but a really great place for a quick lunch. We had a couple of panninis which were fresh and full of flavour. The Charlie the tuna one was particularly good! Definitely worth looking out for as a bit different... More

Great breakfast . I had a Nutella Crepe with fruit wow and my partner had the best oatmeal ever. Going back tomorrow to try other items .They also are selling art from local artists which are quite good. Will be looking at them again for purchase. Nice staff also in North Beach.

Love the breakfast - sooo good! We ate at Pat's twice during our stay and will go again the next time we are in San Francisco. The dishes I tried were both wonderful and my family loved their dishes as well (breakfast). The hash browns are large chunks of potato that are cooked to perfection and the coffee, eggs, service... We stopped in at Pat's Cafe to get out of the rain after taking a pass on Mama's with its line halfway down the block. No way it would have been worth standing in that line. Pat's had ample seating, nice ambiance and a pleasant wait staff. The selection was ample and the food was very good.

We were living at Holiday In by fishermans Wharf so not that long walk! Great value for money! The place is a bit rough round the edges and could do good with a make over, but the food was really good and fresh!

Breakfast at Pat's will satisfy any craving - any American craving that is. Choose from any kind of delicious omelette, eggs benedict with homemade Hollandaise, pancakes, french toast, waffle, traditional breakfast, and even sides like yummy home fries and even grits with cheese. We are local San Franciscans and come here to try different and always satisfying breakfasts each weekend.... More

The meals we ate were delicious and freshly cooked, this place is a great find...reasonably priced and right next to the cable car stop.

After reading all the favourable reviews, we stopped in for breakfast on our very first day of a week long visit to SF. We had originally intended to eat there every day because it was right round the corner from our hotel and close to the cable car terminus. But we never went back. Our breakfast was OK but not... We had breakfast here 3 times during our week trip! We loved the food, service and location! Right after breakfast we caught the cable car and headed out for the day! I would recommend Pats! Also they serve these great potatoes with their omelets and I usually pass on them at other places, here I eat them all up!! The... More
