My partner is called Pat, so we gave it a try. Nice to have tea with taste & good food. Handy for public transport. Lovely paintings & prints on the wall. We bought some to take home to Yorkshire :)

Excellent breakfast stop, great cup of coffee. Fun decor, art all for sale on the walls from local artists. Staff was excellent, atmosphere laid back and perfect. Great way to fortify yourself for a day of sightseeing. Cable car stop just a block or two away to jump on once you finish up. Ask for a window seat if you... More

Outside it looked cool but inside it was deceptive. Cool paintings from local artists, long building with plenty of seats. We arrived at 0830 as we were going around San Francisco for the day and went for the pancakes and fruit, coffee, granola and fruit.Large portions brought out quickly. A few other people stopped in to have coffee, very relaxed... More

Excellent little diner, just around the corner from our hotel. Cozy atmosphere, like home cooked breakfast. Friendly staff and well priced.

There was a huge queue at nearby Hollywood Cafe which made us look for another place to have breakfast. Based on Tripadvisor reviews this restaurant should have been one of the best in San Francisco. Unfortunately, it is not... The place was crowded and all we could get was a tiny tiny table near the door which wasn't a big... More

If only we had discovered Pat's Cafe before our last day. We would have been regular customers. The service was terrific, the food excellent, great coffee. We loved the ambience, the decor. It's also handy for the tram line. Well done Pat's Cafe. You've got it so right. * 11 out of 10 *

Scrumptious Breakfast! Loved the choice of paintings that decorated the walls on the interior. The queue is pretty long during weekends so make sure to head in early!

Pop into Pat's Cafe on Taylor Street for a top notch breakfast, friendly service - with a good vibe and delicious food. The pancakes were awesome and I'm enjoying the bottomless coffee! A perfect place to get fuel to climb Lombard Street, which is close by.

We walked a few blocks from our hotel on Fisherman's Wharf to meet our son for breakfast. The food was amazing, so fresh and full of flavor. The service was impeccable, the lattes awesome and their was a line of people waiting to get in from the minute we walked in the door until we left. This is where the... More
