Word of mouth

We were told about this speakeasy and so went on line to reserve a table and was sent the password. The tenderloin area is not great so only turn up a few minutes before your allotted time as you don't want to be hanging about. The speakeasy was great which a range of cocktails. The whole drama of... read more

I love the idea of a speakeasy bar that caters to my style of alcohol, whiskey/great cocktails. The "rules" of the speakeasy seemed like a cool unique way to experience a time era set bar. The waitress was knowledgeable on the drink menu, but they seemed to be out of a lot of different brands I wanted to try. The... More

Had a wonderful time with friends at this prohibition style speak-easy. Their menu consisted of different style drinks and a very detailed listing of hard liquor. I really liked the whole atmosphere and the coziness of the place. Our waitress tried in vain to accommodate our friend who was wanting to try something that wasn't on the menu. I give... More

I was actually seated in the Wilson and Wilson bar which is a part of Bourbon and Branch. This is supposedly one of the best Whiskey Bars in the country but to me a whiskey bar should be just that and this place was more of a upscale cocktail bar that happened to have a good whiskey selection. Although their... More

We went to Wilson and Silson (a subsection of Bourbon and Branch) after a recommendation of a friend and we loved it. We gave our password at the door (I was expecting that to be a bit more of an event) and were led through Bourbon and Branch through the back to Wilson and Wilson. We loved the dark moody... More

We made the reservation online and came to the door with our password. It was a really cool dark speakeasy that offered MANY whiskeys, scotch and bourbon which left my friends very satisfied. Luckily for us non whiskey drinkers, there were other craft cocktails to enjoy. I ordered the cucumber gimlet and the runway which were both Fantastic! If you... More

We were able to get reservations at Wilson & Wilson. It was really no big deal. We arrived at the door on the side of the building gave them our password and were escorted pretty much in the dark through a small area and into the Wilson and Wilson. We opted for a flight of 3 for each of us... More

Was able to get reservations to Wilson & Wilson on my visit to San Francisco. What a great experience! The ambiance is true to a speak-easy experience and the drinks are to die for. It was such a pleasure watching the bartenders making cocktails. If you don't mind sitting at the bar, the show is well worth it.

I think my expectations might have been set too high on this one. We arrive at 6pm and had reservations. There are about 6 other groups waiting with us. We all knock on the door at different times and they apparently still aren't ready. Finally, about 10 minutes go by and they start checking us in and I notice we... More

First off I want to address the Tenderloin. We were visiting SF from Seattle. Sure the "bums" were a little more aggressive than in Seattle but we were never uncomfortable. We had made reservations to Wilson and Wilson a month in advance. It was not hard to find as a bouncer was hanging outside the entrance. The drinks we had... More
