What fun! And an education in cocktails. After a kid-filled performance of the nutcracker, the adults needed some grown - up fare. We arrived a bit early and rang the buzzer . No answer. On a second ring a voice asked politely for our password (goofy) and we stepped into the world of the Cocktail. No martinis or cosmos here.... More

Read great reviews of this place. It's walking distance from Union Square. Since I was by myself, I didn't feel like making a reservation and opted to drink in the library. You do need a password to get in - visit the website and they will send you one. The library is around the corner from the main entrance (neither... More

We went last night after a nice meal at Fino's round the corner. It is a great experience from the warm welcome of the staff after you give your password, through to the dark and themed interior and music, and great and very large drinks menu. The drinks are strong, but very nice and don't be afraid to ask the... More

Great "speakeasy"-themed bar/restaurant. Drinks are phenomenal and the staff there is great. Book ahead if possible as it does get pretty crowded, especially on a weekend. Sidenote: If you are booking ahead, make sure to arrive on time!

There sent to man "Speak Easy" style watering holes left in the USA any more. Strongly suggest you call for reservations and make ur reservation for the last "turn" for your table so that you can sit and socialize with the tables around you. Probably need to book a month or so in advance to get exactly what you want.... More

Exceptional setting with uber cool staff. If you can find it visit it. Exceptionally unique drinks with a plentiful array of choices.

We made reservations for late Friday night in the Wilson & Wilson bar. The 2 bartenders were great, i loved watching them make their concoctions. I especially loved the tall, tattooed, bearded guy..he was dreamy. :) There was a small group of guys that came in that didn't quite understand what type of bar they were in, they were very... More

I do not come to the city without reservations for cocktails at Bourbon and Branch! The art of a great, handmade cocktail is almost dead but these folks are keeping it alive! The "speakeasy" theme only adds to the experience. Cheers to you B&B for always giving me a wonderful cocktail experience!

Well, it's a speakeasy so can't say much about the place. Book online to get the password, you certainly won't regret it.

Definitely worth giving it a go but must book in advance. The selection of drinks is is very extensive and the whole 'Prohibition' experience is quite cool, from having to give a secret password at the door to get in (which is emailed to you when you book) to having to leave by a secret back door. Fun with a... More
