Food worth the wait

We had dinner here and enjoyed the food. The seafood pasta was very delicious and filling. The only reason we gave a 4 was due to the wait time, we did not make a booking but were told it would only be 20-25mins so decided to wait. It ended up being around 45-50mins. My wife and I enjoyed a Bay tour with the Blue and Gold Fleet. The day was sunny and warm. We were tired and hungry when we made it to this resturant. We shared a couple of the platters. The food was good and the beer was cold! Service was attentive. A very nice way to finish the afternoon.

Just a quick review of our disappointing lunch here in mid July. Service was friendly and setting is nice, but my wife's crab cakes were inedible, lacking actual crab and tasting almost medicinal and my Fish and Chips were batter heavy and the fish subpar. All in a very disappointing visit even for an expected tourist focused establishment. I fear... More

This was the best seafood we had in San Francisco but it may have something to do with us going more of a touristy route than a locals route. I ignored the instinct to seek out local favorites and will try to amend that mistake going forward and would also pass that along to anyone really trying to give Fisherman's... More

We stopped in on a Saturday night around 5:30-6:00, expecting a fairly good wait time, but to our surprise the wait was only 30 minutes. The waiting area is very nice with a fireplace, water fountains, and very comfortable outdoor furniture. Once seated, our view of the San Francisco bay was very nice! We had Crab Cakes for an appetizer... More

My husband and I took a road trip up north for our anniversary and were excited to be spending the last night of our trip in San Francisco. We made a reservation at Fog Harbor before we left for our trip based on the great reviews, so we were excited for the experience. We were so happy to be seated... More

After a tiring walk around Pier 39, we decided to get a light lunch and rest up at the Fog Harbor Fish House. A great choice! We were seated at a nice table with a view of the harbor. The food was good and so were the drinks and the service was top notch. I don't remember what my hubby... More

Ate here at the end of a busy day exploring San Francisco. We were seated quickly, and our food arrived promptly. My husband had salmon which he said was quite good, but by no mean spectacular. My 3 sons and I ordered fish and chips. The first couple of bites of my fish were Ok, but the third bite was... More

This place was recommended by our hotel as a decent place to eat. I'll be sure and tell the hotel not to do that to other customers. Had oysters on the half shell so small you may as well just draw a picture of an oyster. My crab cakes, you had to search for crab among the bread. The seared... More

Great service, nice wine and beer selection. Fun original cocktails! Food is yummy, even if Pacific Cod dinner did have lil under-cooked beans. Fish was cooked perfectly! Loved the biscoff cookie at end!
