Dined with my wife, 13 mo old son, and mom. Chose this place by looking on this site. Best meal, and best service we've had in our four days here. If you choose to come here, make sure you sit in Travis' station!!!

This is a very busy restaurant which is a great sign. The food is well priced and everything we had was very good. The clam chowder is, as advertised, very enjoyable. Service is a little robotic bt nevertheless attentive. Drinks are on the high sie, so the overall cost loses it a 5 star rating. I would certainly return, but... More

First of all, I researched about a dozen restaurants in San Francisco that I haven't been too that would have fresh fish for my girlfriend's liking. I wanted to pick a good choice if we were going to drive in traffic for at least an hour each way. I also wanted to keep it around the hundred dollar range. Fog... More

Great menu; excellent food; wonderful service; wonderful views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. My wife had 1/2 garlic crab; I had the mixed grill.... shrimp, swordfish, salmon.... both were excellent. 2 glasses of zinfandel (OD'd on wine from Napa earlier in the week). they were booked solid (due to convention in town)... but when we stopped by at... Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the view. Clean, well lit and comfortable. The Clam chowder was delicious. We had soup salad combo. The chowder was in a scrumptious bread bowl. Service was a little lacking but the food and the ambiance of the restaurant made up for the lack of attentiveness. Would go back.

Went here on our last night in SF.We had had a busy day and did not want to walk far. We usually don't to go to eateries in touristy areas, but sometimes have to. They were recommended on a list at the Aquarium as serving sustainable fish. There was a wait so we sat at the bar. Bar area is... More

We decided to have dinner at Fog Harbor after reading a few reviews on TripAdvisor. The meal was pretty good, Cioppino and the crab cake. The surprise came with the check, where the "Service NOT included" and "suggested tip" were circled with the pen and emphasized with various signs, as if we were either blind or ignorant. Honestly, it was... More

The Cucumber Basil Gimlet cocktail is great here. Nice place to sit in the bar. Tried to eat here once but that was not as impressive.

We didn't know what to expect from the restaurant but were very happy with service and food. I got half crab and it was amazing, we would have ate there again if we spent another night in San Fran.

Visited this spot based on the reviews in TA and was glad that we did. Very nice room with a great view of SF Bay. Visited with my wife and daughter and they probably would have given the restaurant a higher rating. We ordered the Cheesy Crab Toast as an appetizer and I felt it was average with a bit... More
