Excellent Food & Service

We very much enjoyed our visit to Fog Harbor Fish House after a windy day on the wharf. Ahi tuna dish was delicious as was the garlic/cheese bread. If there are only two of you- definitely ask for half an order!

This is a busy restaurant and reservations are necessary. However, you can go right in and sit at the bar where there is less background noise, excellent service, and have the same great meal.

We were a large group of 15 but service was still good. Food was excellent, lots to choose from. Desserts were delicious. For such a nice restaurant in a popular tourist location I thought the prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Expected a tourist trap on Fishermans Wharf. Was surprised at the ambiance, the bay views, the excellent wait staff and especially the variety and quality of the food offered. We had a red chile shrimp appetizer, blackened sword fish, NY steak in whiskey peppercorn sauce and a creme brule for dessert. Excellent ! Excellent ! Excellent !

This place was not your typical tourist trap...while expensive, I enjoyed the best crab cakes and chowder I think I've ever had with a perfect, albeit foggy, view of the bay. Wanted to finish the meal off with some dessert, but wow the portions were gigantic!! Could have easily been for 3-4 people. All in all a great meal!

We found this restaurant by chance whilst staying in the area on business. The location and views from the restaurant are really good, perfect venue for a business meeting/special event or just a great meal out. The food was fantastic, well worth the price. Service was really good. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and I will be visiting again... More

Had a great view of the pier, and the (sp) Chiopani dish (lots of seafood in a tomato soup kinda thing) was AWESOME. Service and atmosphere was upper-crust.

We had a wonderful early dinner at Fog Harbor Fish House on our recent trip to San Francisco. We were seated at a table next to the windows, which gave us an amazing, sweeping view of the Bay. Started off with cold Anchor a Steam drafts, followed by fish and chips for me, and crab cakes for my husband. Everything... More

Celebrated our anniversary a few weeks back. We had scallops to start. I had the cod. It was wonderfully flavorful!!! Husband had halibut and he enjoyed it. They brought us a brownie sundae complimentary to celebrate. Nice touch!!! We loved the food. While the service was great, something happened that was really strange. During the dinner service rush (7:00pm), our... More
