We walked from our hotel to Fog Harbor after calling to ask about a wait; after arriving, we waited what was supposed to be 15 minutes - but it certainly wasn't! Service was great and the food was delicious! Their fish and chips were so light.. It was very, very good. The cocktails were good too- I recommend the Lombard... More

We visited Fog Harbor while in San Francisco with our son and his wife. The location is fantastic with views overlooking the Bay. Some of the meals were very good. I thought my seafood mixed plate was too salty.

I've eaten at the wharf enough that I know there are a lot mediocre restaurants in prime locations. This restaurant is in a great location and has quality food that I expect at a San Francisco restaurant...even when I brought our young kids. The sword fish on ratatouille was perfect. The kids' meals were generous and tasty. The staff was... More

Surprisingly good in the middle of very touristy pier 39. Well enjoyed and felt a bit removed from touristy hubbub right outside.

My husband and I had dinner last Saturday night at Fog Harbor Fish House on Pier 39 and LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT! We ate lunch here years ago, and that was good, too - but this was phenomenal! We started off by ordering cocktails: a Blueberry Press and an Ultimate Dirty Martini, which were both incredibly good! We... More

Good food, large menu, for the seafood lover. I had the cioppino with pasta. Tasty. Good ambiance in a busy and touristy area. Great views! I would return.

Enjoyed walking around Pier and seeing the sea lions and across to Alcatraz before dinner. Had oysters, lobster tails and dessert and it was wonderful. Server was excellent.

Classic on the wharf dining experience. Good food but not great food. We had a crab louie and a fried seafood plate. Good shrimp, calamari. Great service and bread with butter. Fun view. Just wanted it to be better. Fast seating because of Open Table reservation.

Like others, we were skeptical the first time we ate here, but this is not your typical "touristy" restaurant. The seafood is fresh, the wait staff is very good, and the view is fantastic! We ate here for my husband's birthday over the Fourth of July weekend. When we arrived, the reservation had been written down for the wrong day,... More

We were skeptical but became true believers after dining at Fog Harbor. Their happy hour prices were great for San Francisco; the view, unmatched; and, most importantly, the food and service were fabulous! Clam chowder was stupendous; nice free bread basket; good seafood; and nice wine list too. Only one item ordered (a shrimp appetizer - mushy) was subpar, which... More
