I love a good beer geek bar. LOVE. And this is exactly that. Don't go here to have a beer for the hell of it, go here to sample one of their enormous selection of excellent beers. A nice, small place that pays a lot of attention to their beers. Plenty of drafts and a ton of bottles. If you're... More

We ordered Diner I had Arugala and Fennel salad with a crusty ale soaked bread then a Risotto with blue oyster mushrooms and age white cheddar. I enjoyed everything Skirt steak my friend ordered was tender and moist in a... More

Visited MK for the first time with many Tech Professionals from all over US. Half would not go in because of noise, parking, wait, vile hipsters, and crappy neighborhood. This culled our group to 6, otherwise we could not have shoehorned our way in. It is difficult to get space for more than 2, and you should consider this before going.... More

Fantastic place to grab a beer. Huge selection of beers, many you've never heard of. I did not taste the food, but who needs food with these great beers you can get. Check out the sour beers, Lychee Tart. Even the $26 beer was worth it.

Our group of 13 had a pleasurable and very tasty lunch at the Monk's Kettle on Sept. 12th. The large group was accomodated with style and grace. The food - superb. There is a intriguing choice in sandwiches. The choice was difficult. The result extemely satisfying.

Every year I spent a week in San Francisco. A month before I start checking and rechecking my schedule to make sure I end up at Monk's Kettle at least one of those nights. To say that they have a good beer menu is almost an insult. The beer menu is beyond good. Not only is the beer menu well... More

Enjoyed a few good local brews at this hipster pub. There was a quite a wait for tables at this small gastro-pub. We were lucky enough to grab two seats at the bar so we skipped food and focused on the good stuff! The wait staff were very friendly and helped us with other dining choices for the remainder of... A friend suggested this place for four of us to meet for dinner during a conference. She had heard about it on a TV show reviewing good eats. It’s a gastropub. The atmosphere was very young and hipster. As my friend said, she could have birthed the majority of the staff and the patrons. Overall, I found it irritating because... More

It has a vast beer selection and good food. Like many places along the 16th and Valencia corridor it's often super busy, and hard to get a seat.
