We were staying nearby. Weren't in the mood to get dressed up to go out, so I opted for take out. The food was excellent and was prepared very quickly.
Everyone enjoyed their entrees at this conveniently located restaurant. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the location. The service was efficient and attentive. The Volcanic Beef house specialty was not very spicy, it was simply presented in the form of a volcano. We will definitely eat there again.
I've eaten here several times, and both the service and food are consistently very good to excellent. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, with a wall of windows looking out at the Embarcadero Plaza and Ferry Bldg. And they validate parking in the EC garage (4 hours for $2!), always a "plus" in San Francisco
Four of us arrived and the server/hostess seated us at a huge table for 8 by the door. When we asked if we could sit at the table for 6 just 4 tables away she very curtly said no, it was a closed section although it had diners at two table adjacent to it. Fair enough I guess. I asked... More
From outward appearance a beautiful dining room with a lot of ambiance. Food was good for this first time Thai taster. Hot and sour soup with scallops very tasty. Ginger Kobi beef nice flavor. Hostess less than friendly and waitress could hardly understand English. A nice experience but I won't return.
Marvellous Thai food near the ferry buildings and financial district of downtown San Francisco. The restaurant had a friendly and warm feel, and service was with a fabulous smile and all 3 courses of food superb. Highly recommended.
I don't usually eat calamari but I went here with some friends and we ordered some calamari for appetizers and dinner, and by far they are some of the best tasting calamari I've had. All the food there tasted pretty good and I'll be more than happy to go there again and have more to eat.
We met some friends here for dinner and this was my second time here and I enjoy the ambience. The food is tasty but portions are alittle small but we ate family style and shared two bowls of brown rice, honey duck, pumpkin pork curry, clay pot vegetables, and grilled sea bass. A bit on the expensive side but they... More
Don't get me wrong as this restaurant serves great Thai food; the prices seem a little on the high side ($330 for 8 people), and we shared dishes. However, they have tucked down in the corner of the menu "Family $5", which as we were sharing 5 dishes for 8 people seemed like a good idea. The waitress 1) had... More
My husband and I were staying in the Hyatt, and every time we passed this restaurant, we could smell the deliciousness wafting out from inside. We could smell it a block away. We passed by a couple times thinking it looked pretty expensive. There is no menu for public viewing outside. Finally we worked up the courage and asked for... More
