Great choice for Thai

Delicious food with lots of choices. Everything was tasty. Pad See Eew was one of the best I've had in a long time. Generous portions, so you'll have plenty to share all around.

Osha is a wonderful experience. The restaurant itself is very comfortable and the chairs are designed so you could sit there for hours. The service was quick as well --- so you may need to slow it down a bit. I was not in the mood for alcohol (they had a great bar) so ordered the Thai Iced Tea ---... More

I had been walking everywhere and wanted somewhere close to hotel where I was for convention. I have eaten Thai, but never gone to a Thai restaurant. The server was very nice and helped me make a selection. I had the duck rolls, and sea bass. Jasmine tea. It was all wonderful - did not care for the lettuce under... More

Dined here a few weeks ago - needed a quick dinner since I had just arrived in San Francisco and wanted to turn in. Osha was one of the few restaurants still open at 21:00 and I was not disappointed. I opted to choose two starters for my meal. The first was the Tuna Tower which was extremely tasty whilst... More

We had booked ourselves for nice evening dinner with =family and friends. This was recommended by our local friend. We tried the Crispy Roll, Fresh Roll,Papaya Salad,Pad see ew with Tofu, Pad Thai,Panang Curry, TomYum, with Iced tea. All vegetarian cooked. We all enjoyed the food. This is a fine dinning place. The total cost to us was $ 110/-... More

I find that a lot of the Embarcadero and Ferry Building-vicinity restaurants are kind of mediocre. To be fair, we descended on OSHA in a large group. But the service was chaotic, I ended up having to go get some of the drinks from the staging area, and the food was unremarkable. Nice setting and good place to sit outside... More

Our first stop was about 3 trips ago, visit SF 3-4 times a year for business, baseball, and good old city r&r. This place is always bustling so necessarily a quiet, lingering type of dining experience, but not atypical for the most cities, especially SF. The food is great, plenty of variety for the novice, but don't have to be... More

You know, OSHA is good. It's just way big and way slick. As good as it is there are many Thai places in town that are way better -- Lers Ros, Kin Khao -- to name a couple. Don't avoid OSHA if someone insists. But, if they ask you, you can lead them to something really special instead.

While visiting SF last week, my wife and I had dinner at Osha Thai at the Embarcadero. We have eaten lunch there two or three times during previous trips, but this was our first dinner experience and it proved to be the best dinner we had during our stay. A couple of provisos if you go on a Friday night...be... More

This restaurant is just a few small changes away from being Great. Location was good. Virtually opposite the Ferry Building and a short walk from the end of the Califormia cable car. It was very busy which is always a good sign but we got a table quickly. Service was good, very attentive. Lamb / Chicken satay was good although... More

Staying in Financial District

Neighborhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
