I've lived in Quincy, MA for almost thirty years and the Fat Cat is great! There are not a lot of hip, fun places to go but the Fat Cat is one of them. The staff is super friendly and its atmosphere is casual and easy going but can get a bit loud if you're looking for a romantic spot.... More

This place is known for it's delicious buffalo wings and lobster mac and cheese, but they also have many other delicious meals. The staff is very attentive and the bar is a fun place to hang out. Expect a wait many nights.

I've been to The Fat Cat on a couple of occasions and haven't been disappointed. Comfort food, the service I received both times was pleasant and attentive. Also, the portions are huge, so much so that most leave with doggy bags afterwards, I know I did.

Great comfort food. Space can get cramped and service is diligent but can feel a bit rushed if they are trying to turn tables. Good vibe and decent bar area that can get packed if people are waiting.

Crazy busy on a Friday night. Had a 45 minute wait which was perfect to have a couple glasses of wine and beer before dinner. The staff is very friendly. The menu is full of all kinds of gourmet bar foods. You get a weird appetizer of mushy black bean and corn bread and butter. The food was fresh and... More

This place is awesome the food is excellent and the prices are even better everything is homemade !!! Especially the homemade bread at dinner!!! A friend of mine told me about this place, and while traveling on business - I had the opportunity to drop in for a late lunch. He heard about it on a TV show, thought perhaps Food Network. Word is that it's crowded and they do not take reservations - I was there around 2pm on a Friday and had... More

Love Fat Cat. The food has always been good. Always. We typically order things like the hot dog mac and cheese, burgers, soup of the day, mahi mahi, etc. The waitstaff are always very friendly and efficient and the bartenders definitely know what they're doing. The only issue I've ever had there is that it can be crowded, on any... More

On a recent afternoon out with family, we stopped at The Fat Cat for a late lunch. Fortunately, it was an off hour (2pm on a Saturday), and we didn't wait long for a table, but I am told the place is jam-packed on any typical weekend afternoon. The menu is pretty standard American bar fare - burgers, sandwiches, salads.... More

Affordable comfort food with decent beer selection. Best restaurant in Quincy. Expect a waiting list around dinner time any day of the week, the secret is out.
