After driving all night from Pittsburgh to Boston, this was a fantastic place to fuel up before starting our vacation. We had fried dill pickle chips which had a good batter and were not too greasy. We also got the Buffalo chicken nachos which were awesome... They had a good variety of nachos to choose from and all sounded fantastic.... More

My friends and I came here as a celebration for the end of the school year, and no one was disappointed by the amazing selection of food! There was more to eat than I could finish, but it made for great leftovers. The service is great and the atmosphere is geared toward locals and young adults. Such a fun experience!

We have eaten at the Fat Cat several times and I have not noticed any price increases. The food is consistently good, sometimes even great. They have the best crab cakes around. Service is always very good at the bar. Bartenders are terrific; attentive and friendly. This is a very small restaurant so seating can be tough. Not unusual to... More

If you are so lazy as to only put chunks of zucchini and summer squash in your version of pasta primavera, at least give us a heads up on the menu. Some decent flavors in the sauce/broth but overall a very unsatisfying dish. Fish and chips were just OK also. First time at Fat Cat; this was overall a disappointment.

It's a local gem. It's small so tables are relatively close. The bar can be cramped but the barkeeps are very attentive. They don't seat people until everyone in your party is there. The menu is down to earth. Prices are very reasonable, portions are generous and beer selection is great. Parking can be a challenge, although there is a... More

What a great spot. It is centrally located and there is a parking lot just a short few steps from the restaurant. This will save you getting a $25.00 ticket for running over your meter(which I did). We had a great time and the food is delicious. The lobster mac and cheese is worth the carbs but split the order... More

I've lived in Quincy for two years now, and this is still my favorite local restaurant to go for dinner. The service is always great, and the food is DELICIOUS! The menu is just long enough, everything has a little spin to it, and the prices are well within reason. I highly recommend the wings (any and all flavors, but... More

I suggest going for lunch as I have heard Fat Cat gets extremely busy for dinner/drinks. The menu might be considered small by some- I consider it pleasantly managable. The pulled pork sandwich is HUGE- fork and knife huge! The burgers are cooked exactly the way you ask. And ,my husband's favorite, the steak sandwich, is a MONSTER! Lots of... More

Sitting in the Fat Cat, you get the feel that you are in somewhere a lot cooler than half torn downtown Quincy. It feels more like Venice Beach, CA or San Diego. This past Tuesday, we arrived around 6 pm and had no problem getting a seat. In my prior trips to the Fat Cat, seating was an issue no... More
