I am going to leave this review short and sweet.... the mac and cheese. Get it, you won't be sorry. You may need to be rolled home after though. This is one of the best mac and cheese dishes I have ever had at a restaurant. Just do it.

Having been to the Fat Cat many times, I figured I should finally write a review. This is a small locally owned fantastic, and reasonably priced restaurant. I have never been disappointed with a meal here. Their signature dish is a lobster mac and cheese that is to die for. Well, if you like lobster, which I don't. But I... More

I had found this restaurant online and drove over an hour just to come here and I got in and they told me it would be an hour and a half wait. So I went back to wait in my car around the block seeing as how it was raining out and nowhere to go and after 50 minutes of... More

Ate here with friends on a visit to Mass. Had about an hour wait on a Sunday night but spent it at the bar next door until the host came to get us. Dinner was delish--many in our party had the lobster mac and cheese which is a signature dish. It was a huge portion but very tasty. Staff was... More

Funky atmosphere, the lobster Mac is amazing! A bit cramped at the bar area, but that's fine because the martinis and wine selection makes up for it! Never had a bad meal here.

Went on a Sat, were seated quickly. With the small place full, the sound with everyone in the rather small place is deafening. Drinks and bread were brought quickly. 3 different types of bread and butter were very good. Calamari I would rate as poor, it was made with lots of peppers and had too many extras in it, the... Want a wonderful meal with the freshest fish? Craving comfort food, such as homemade mac n' cheese? The Fat Cat in Quincy is the place to go! Baked. Macaroni is their specialty, but with a twist.... top it with hot dogs, lobster or your choice of four other proteins, or all of the above! The bowl is big enough to... More

I would have given the Fat Cat 5 stars, but for the fact that it is small and doesn't take reservations. It really is a bar with great food and seating at the at the bar, which is a plus. The menu is quite varied from trendy dishes like lobster Mac and cheese to hamburgers and salads. It is a... More

This little hole in the wall is always PACKED with people who want in. They have the best mac and cheese and (insert chicken, steak, lobster, etc here)! They also have fried pickles which are very tasty. DEFINITELY worth a trip and a wait. Go now!

Good service, nice selection. The fresh catch special was delicious and a very good value. The crab cakes were very good, too. Lobster mac could have used more cheese or flavor, but there was a lot of lobster in it!
