Nice neighborhood breakfast/lunch diner

With the blizzard(s) of 2015 making getting out and around difficult its nice to have this local breakfast joint within walking distance. Pancakes are fluffy, corned beef hash is very tasty and your coffee cup is bottomless. Lots of decor relating to the history of Quincy and surrounding area... read more

After spending several days vacationing in Boston, we took the Red Line to Quincy to visit the Adams Historic Site. We had breakfast at the Early American Restaurant in Quincy and it was great! It's an old-fashioned diner with great food a warm small town feel. Made for a great break from the hustle and bustle of the Boston restaurant... More

The Steak Tips practically make this place a historical site! If you haven't had steak tips for breakfast you are not living your life right. Its also nice to see The Patriotic Decor in the place, you just feel proud of America in this place

This spot is open for breakfast and lunch. It is a good spot for a hearty home-style breakfast at a good price.

Had breakfast here on several occasions, was here last Wednesday morning, great breakfast as always, good value for money, and it's always busy which is a good sign. Will certainly be here again on my next trip to Quincy.

This place is one of, if not, the best breakfast place that I have ever stopped into. The food is hot, tasty & quick to your table. Prices are good--wait staff knowledgable and quick to refill your cup. What else could you want???

It is almost ten years that we are regulars here. In such a long time, of course we had good meals and not so good meals but that is how we started our weekends looking forward to have a Saturday morning coffee etc. We certainly missed Chriss and her joyful attitude but new staff is becoming more friendlier also, we... There's a review from someone on Feb 2, which I agree with completely. I have been here twice and both times was the same. Rude and abrasive service, and horrible food, for prices that are too high for what you get. I will admit they had good potatoes, but that's about it. I have no idea why people make this... More

This place is tiny, cramped, and the waitress was VERY RUDE! The waitress messed up the order and forgot to bring drinks and acted like it was too much trouble to do her job. The food was bad too. Would not recommend this place.

This place is a little gem. Wonderful breakfasts, lunches, specials. Their pancakes are out of this world (not made from a commercial mix), and the steak tips (for lunch or breakfast) are amazingly tender and flavorful. Potato salad is great, their waldorf turkey sandwich is yummy. I have not had a bad meal here. Portions are generous, but not ridiculous.... More
