I love to meet friends in the bar at the Tavern and look out over the Boston skyline and watch golfers down below. It is great in the summer because you can sit out on the porch. There is one drawback to the view of Boston, and it is the cell tower looming just to the right of where you... More

Always great service and always great food! The view is second to none! Might be the best place in Quincy to get a meal!

I recently met a friend for lunch on a Sunday at 11:30 AM. When we first got there, no one else was in the restaurant. By the time we left (2 hours later), the place was hopping, with people waiting in the lobby. (Reservations not taken?!) It looked like there were several functions (baby shower, birthday party, etc.) Once seated... More

We usually try to come here for lunch at least once a month, the restaurant has great views and is reasonably priced. Note: you have to ask for rolls, they are basic dinner rolls, heated nicely, nothing fancy. We Ordered: (2-Alcohol)- Captain & Coke, and a White Russian made perfect. (2-Starters)-Shrimp Cocktail 12-Large Shrimp $11.00 Awesome! Scallops & Bacon the... More

It's a nice drive up to the restaurant. You get a spectacular view of downtown Boston. I think their food is very good. I had a great steak, cooked to perfection. There were 8 of us and everyone got something different. We were all happy with our meals. We all had dessert, I had the key lime pie. It was... More

Ask for a table with a view of Boston. The food is excellent, service is great. Free valet parking for handicapped. Whenever we have guests, we always take them here, even thou we live on the North Shore.

What a gem this is!! A local took us to this restaurant on a golf course as it is one of her favorites. It is casual dining but the food has interesting seasonings and combinations, is beautifully presented and very good. The desserts are "to die for". Our waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The view across the bay to... More

Everything about the tavern is great. We sat at the bar on Thursday night (since there was about a 20 minute wait for a table) and it was a great decision. We were approached immediately, got some terrific drinks and both bartenders took care of us. The cobb salad and chicken saltimbocca were both served perfectly. We will definitely be... More

Everything about The Tavern was mediocre. We dined on a Saturday in the summer and the atmosphere seemed very hurried and disorganized. the glass of SavBlanc to the restrooms was unimpressive. Our waitperson was very nice but sloppy. No one approached us after being seated and we had to ask for water. My caprese salad included not yet ripe tomatoes... More
