Three of us had an early dinner on a cold rainy evening. Two of us had an Asian slaw with crab for an appetizer.Really unusual and absolutely delcious. Two dinners were petite fillets and were quite large with great sides. They were described as tender and delicous. My dinner was two large shrimp with lobster stuffing over asparagus. Savored every bite.Ample... More

They have redone the restaurant since the last time we were there for dinner. The front part of the restaurant is pretty much all bar with high top tables and the dining room is in the back of the restaurant. Very elegant and the service was excellent. We were dying for a good steak and we were not disappointed. They... More

Up there with the best of the best in the South Shore, Alba can kick butt with Tosca & Alma Nove for fine dining south of Boston. Dinner last night with visiting foodie friends from San Francisco--who think nothing can compare with their restaurant scene -- were overwhelmed with the quality of food & wine from our delicious dinner. Firstly,... More

I was recently at Alba for an attorney sponsored Real Estate meet and greet. The staff is friendly and very concerned about meeting the needs of the customer.

Our son took my wife and I out to dinner a little while ago to their favorite restaurant. I've been to Alba before and wasn't very impressed with the food or the atmosphere then so I thought going again would be different. It was to a degree. The food was better this time and I thought the steaks were very... More

We rented the upstairs room for a business function for 30-40 people. Both the food and the service were excellent.

Alba was always one of favorite go to places for special dinners. Last night, we anticipated having another great meal. Since our last visit, the menu has completely changed as well as the little things that made it special. I finally settled on Alba"s Brick Chicken, which has no resemblance to what I have had in other restaurants. The skin... More

My brother was visiting from New York City and staying in Boston but I recommended that we have our birthday celebration in Quincy where I live and I am so glad we did. The food, atmosphere and attentive service were outstanding. Our appetizers included oysters, clams on the half shell, crab cakes, clam chowder and a salad and all were... More

I took my niece to Alba's for her birthday. The hostess who greeted us was a "great ambassador" for the restaurant. The food and service were outstanding!!! Our waitress was very attentive and professional. The caesar salad and filet mignon dishes we ordered were outstanding. I highly recommend Alba's Restaurant if you want fine dining at a reasonable price.
