This place gets better every time I go there. Quality of food and service is out of this world. Staff is the friendliest I've ever had the pleasure of being served by. The atmosphere is contagious . If you like a big juicy steak the tomahawk is the way to go. Best ribeye I've ever had. The entire menu is... More

We had dinner at Alba on a Saturday night with family and friends. We were seated immediately in the dining room and I cannot fault the service. The wait staff was courteous and efficient, without being overbearing. Daughter in law & I each ordered a salad and the crab cake appetizer, because we weren't starving. My mixed greens salad was... Alba Restaurant has survived the notoriously fickle South Shore restaurant market for over eleven years by providing excellent service and food, and in particular as a result of the owner's direct involvement and attention to detail. Alba offers a rooftop bar/dining area (weather permitting), a casual cocktail lounge, and a separate more formal dining room. In addition to an excellent... More

OK, I'll admit it, I'm a regular. I go with my wife once every couple of weeks, usually on a Monday- Wednesday when they offer the $25 three course dinner. We always enjoy the food, both the portions and the quality, along with the friendly service at the bar, It's nice to be greeted and being made to feel welcome... More

We like to go to Alba's for the 3 course meal served Monday Wednesday. On Tuesdays my husband like to have the oysters which are only a dollar. We have never been disappointed at Alba's the food is wonderful, service attentive . I'm not sure I like the white coats the servers wear the service is excellent.

To set the stage, we had visited the "old Alba" years ago in its previous location and were impressed with the food a service. We made a reservation for dinner on a Friday night expecting a "fine dining" experience. The old place was like that and they even have valet and a good wine selection. Unfortunately it looks like they... More

I've only been to Alba's for dinner but have never had a disappointing meal. It's conveniently located...a five-minute walk from the Quincy Center T. It's also a very popular spot so expect to have lots of company. Not recommended for those who are looking for quiet, intimate dining.

We tried Alba in the early days and the food was always good. They have expanded into the old Thai restaurant space and changed the menu to add steak. It seems an afterthought. The menu is short and seasonal. Try the maze which has hummus with a variety of veggies and is very good. We had the lamb shank and... More

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Valet parking is quick and easy. The décor is modern but stately (previously a bank). The downstairs bar area has ample seating (so does the upstairs rooftop bar during warmer months). You get real drink for your dollar, and the bar staff is super friendly. The menu is continental, but I highly... More

My husband took me out here for my birthday and we had a fantastic dinner. I had the seafood fra diavlo. I asked our server if I could substitute more shrimp for the lobster since I don't like lobster and he said no problem. It was delicious! And there was so much of it, I actually had to bring some...
