Best Mexican on the South Shore

It's not TX or CA good, but for New England it is darn good. My wife usually gets the tostadas and loved them. It is in a strip mall but don't let that deter you.

My friends and I went to La Paloma on a Tuesday night. While the food was average (I think Acapulco in Quincy or Norwood is better and more authentic), the service was disappointing. The server took a while to get to our table and then she forgot our appetizers. When it came to paying our check, we had to look... More

Don't let the strip mall location fool you, this place is awesome. I come here often with my daughter as it is one of her favorite places. the food is always good, always fresh and plentiful. Usually we encounter a short wait, less the 15 minutes, but it is worth the wait.

This restaurant may not be in a fancy building or in a fancy neighborhood but it certainly has the BEST Mexican cuisine in Massachusetts. The traditional cuisine is fresh, flavorful, authentic and plentiful. They start you off with a basket of freshly cooked tortilla chips and the homemade salsa. I always purchase salsa to go. It is spiced just right... More

If you know Mexican food at all you will be disappointed by this place. If you enjoy tasty food you will be disappointed by this place. If you enjoy food you will be disappointed by this place. End of story. Not good Mexican, not tasty and I'm not certain what I consumed was actually food. Some of the lowlights included... More

This is a cozy small restaurant. The bar is very small with only a couple of bar stools. The food however, is really delicious and very reasonably priced. My husband is not a big fan of Mexican food but has no problem going to La Paloma when I get a craving. Margarita's are so delicious!

My review of this restaurant was made about three years ago and must have been lost in the shuffle....Who in their right mind would have ever thought you would get some of the best Mexican food in the Boston, MA area. We were staying in the Marriott hotel in Boston when we told about this Mexican restaurant in Quincy....It was... More

I have been a customer of La Paloma's for over 30 years. I have not ever had a bad meal or bad service at this restaurant. The food is always delicious and fresh. They have a great selection of items on the menu and the drinks and desserts are good as well. The honey chipotle steak tips are awesome. I... More

My friends and I have been coming here a couple of times in the past few months and we have not been dissapointed. I usually order something different everytime but I can tell you that the enchiladas and the fish tacos are awesome. The staff is attentive, they bring you chips and salsa right away and make sure to have... More

We've been coming to this restaurant for a few years and the food has been good but it really is time to change the menu. Maybe it is the case of "don't break what ain't broken". Definite 2 stars for the service tonight! I learned of the "specials" after I got the check when our server informed a table next... More
