Ole Mexican Fiesta

Judging by the packed house, La Paloma Mexican restaurant is one popular place. All four of us ordered different dishes and all were pleased with the result. The service was great and we received our order in a timely fashion. Expect to pay between $11 and $18 per order depending on the selection.

Everyone loved the fresh chips and salsa, and the three that ordered the chili con carne made the rest of us wish we had joined them. I selected the carne a la parrilla entree, and the honey chipotle glazed steak tips were some of the best I have had. LaPaloma is definitely worth the drive to Quincy.

My wife and I have been here many, many times over the past 25 years and the food is great. Many of the staff have been working here almost as long as we have been coming here to eat. I have tried many items but my favorite is a very simple burrito dish. Try it you will like it.

The food is good but nothing stands out. Service is OK but seating is a bit tight. Prices are a bit high for the quality and variety.

This little mexican joint has been around for decades in a little strip mall in Quincy. Great drinks, good food, excellent value. It's not a "special occasion" place but definitely a good place to grab a bite and drinks without going broke. Their house made salsa is the best!

While the service is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is fun, the food is just not worth the money- bland and uninteresting. Good place for a get together over margaritas, but with so much good food in the area, why bother?

Quincy is just south of Boston, and generally the cuisine in Quincy is just south of Boston's quality as well. There are a handful of places that are not just "Quincy" good, but they are also "Boston" good. La Paloma is one of those places. La Paloma is in a strip of unassuming small restaurants that you would not think... More

I have been going to La Paloma for many years, but finally had enough today. The food is marginal, portions are not generous; the staff, especially the host, today was unprofessional (the host yelled at me today for holding the door open for my family who was taking longer than expected leaving the restaurant); the atmosphere lacks energy. One positive... More

La Paloma is always tasty, with good service, and a pleasant atmosphere. No bells and whistles if you're a true Mexican aficionado--but a reliably good meal when you're hungry for Spanish rice, refried beans, and chips and salsa! Prices are reasonable--come during weekday lunch for better deals.

There's no Tex/Mex here! The food is authentic Mexican with a very diverse menu! I'm partial to enchiladas so that's what I usually get. They also have great seafood dishes. On weekends there is often a guitarist for your enjoyment in the bar area. Prices are also reasonable and service is friendly and efficient. Sangria is delicious! I've been here... More
