This is a great place to go when the weather's nice. It's right across from the beach, so there's usually a nice breeze. I like to park down at the salt marsh and walk up with my dog. I'm not really a fish person, so I get a burger and fries and I get her a hotdog and a bowl... More

Had the seafood plate with sweet potato fries. Was delicious. People at counter were very pleasant. Enjoyed my first visit there. Would go back.

We went here early on a Saturday night - and the place was packed. With quite a diverse clientele. They must be doing something right! I had the fish & chips, my husband had the clam plate. All fresh and delicious. Great spot for people-watching as well!

-Huge lobster roll big as my head, but oddly sour (vinegar?) -Totally unseasoned bland chowder -Unseasoned onion rings -Clams were also under seasoned but fresh and well cooked On the scale of 1 being awful and 10 being the perfect clam shack, this is at best a 5

Awesome restaurant! Pricing is great; the seafood was fresh and very tasty; waterfront atmosphere was perfect. Our family of 4 gives it thumbs up!

Stopped here around 5:30 - 6:00 on a weekday night. Saw the Trip Advisor reviews and had already parked on the beach within sight of the shop. Thought about eating outside since the weather was great but decided against it because of the very strong smell from the beach at low tide. Also the traffic was heavy at that time... More

I guess Wallaston Beach is in Quincy. The restaurant slip does not mention Quincy. If you drive a bit fast, you will miss the narrow well hidden driveway, and will have to turn around about half miles up. So, when you see the Clam Box, slow down. The driveway for Tony's is a few feet away. We had fried clams,... More

It was good. Took way to long to get our food. Cole Slaw was way to watery, I like cole slaw that isnt soaking in dressing. As for the clams they were good but I have had better At the Clam Box in Ipswich, MA. Bellies were average size and I prefer bigger ones. But some people might LOVE this... More
