We had a very nice meal. The mussels were excellent and the service we received from Kyle was first rate. Highly recommended.

We sat outside on a chilly night but they have heaters outside which worked out great. The appetizer I had, lobster and wild mushroom was very good as was the dessert...best homemade ice cream ever banana with a crunchy toffee topping. My husband loved the mussels! The entree was average. Waitstaff was friendly.

Another wonderful meal at McKays!!!!! However, the oysters that were on special probably were there for a reason!!! The oysters were dried out, like they had been shucked yesterday and whatever the red, oniony, garnish was....skip it, stick with the horseradish and call it a winner!!! Duck wonton appetizer....delicious and we both had the martini lamb burger. One of the best...if... More

Dropped in and we were seated outside at an adorable bistro table. Waitress was not strong with the menu -- when asked any questions her standard response was "Its OK" with a head bob. Well it wasn't OK. The medium well hamburger I ordered came out the size of a half dollar, charred on the outside and very PINK inside.... More

Good food in a lovely setting. There are gas heaters if its a chilly night. Creative local and organic food. Gluten free items too.

This was our second visit and unfortunately this visit was not as enjoyable as the first. The four dinners arrived lukewarm and our waiter was less than fully engaged, when informed of the cool food, summoned the manager who let us know he would find out what caused the problem, said he needed a beer and left....never to return. The... More

Everything was ok except my Duck Meatloaf. Dry, over salted (and I love salt), and overpowered by black pepper as well. Shepard pie was soso. Bread, clam chowder, and salad were good. Nice ambience. When we ate here two years ago the entrees were better. I don't think we will be back.

My wife and I ate here on our previous trip and were not disappointed on our most recent. Our dinners were both excellent and the evening weather (post labor day) cooperated to eat outside in the garden dining area which made for a perfect overall experience. Recommend.

Excellent food. Had the seafood risotto, duck, and short ribs, and they were excellent. Prices were reasonable and the ambiance was nice.

We had great food and the service was, too - nice music playing and live music downstairs - only one complaint - my granddaughter's plate had a chip out of it and my water glass did, too! Found it with my lip but fortunately did not cut it! The one in the plate was very noticeable - I was surprised... More
