We loved eating outdoors at McKay's! It was a beautiful setting -that's what I liked best about it! The food was good too - we actually just split two appetizers and a bottle of wine and were good to go! We had the lobster crostini and heirloom tomatoe bruschetta! YUM!

Six of us drove over to Bar Harbor from Northeast Harbor to Mackay's s Finding parking was a challenge, then again is usually is especially in the peak summer months. We were a little beyond the peak (Sept 16th) and were lucky to secure a space near Mackakky's 231 Main St. We were greater by friendly staff and seated promptly... More

We had a perfect dinner at the yard. The lobster and mushroom crustini was brilliant. We also really enjoyed the Filet mignon, the Heirloom tomato bruschetta and an Arugula salad. We had a great Malbec red wine from Argentina. Perfect service and reasonable price. The atmosphere was great (a live guitar) and the heaters made it warm. Highly recommended!

This pub offers a reasonably priced option in Bar Harbor. The outdoor seating is nice and the inside seating is intimate with many small rooms that hold only a few tables. The menu was varied. We had the hamburger, which was supposed to be all natural beef. The meat had no real flavor and was almost overcooked. When you pay... More

Good choice of menu. Food was very tasty and well presented. Staff were helpful and tables were cleaned well between each service. Best to book at busy times. We ate inside as it was quite cold. Nice on warmer evening to dine outside

There is outdoor seating, but it was full, so we ate inside. The rooms are beautifully old-fashioned and very cozy. We tried the jerk chicken and the porcini mushroom pasta, both of which were delicious. There was a very talented guitarist playing the night we were there. We couldn't hear him while we were eating, but luckily could enjoy his... More

This was right next to our the Bar Harbor Grand. The best meal we had in the city and would definitely recommend you make a reservation to go there.

We sat outside on a chilly night but they have heaters outside which worked out great. The appetizer I had, lobster and wild mushroom was very good as was the dessert...best homemade ice cream ever banana with a crunchy toffee topping. My husband loved the mussels! The entree was average. Waitstaff was friendly.
