Not to mention the strawberry rhubarb jam. Mmmmmm. We have breakfast here almost every day and the food and service can both be described as fantastic. The last day decided to try something I hadn't had before - the biscuits & gravy - much to my regret. It sat heavy for traveling and made me wish I'd had the pancakes... More

Very good food, great atmosphere. Service is great. Would definitely go back again. Have eaten at Jeannie's each time we have been in Bar Harbor.

Loved my custom fluffy omelette and especially enjoyed the English muffin with strawberry rhubarb jam my friend had some awesome cinnamon french toast with bacon and eggs - super breakfast place. BTW they offer several gluten-free breakfast options!

We got there around 8:30am on a Sunday, there was already a line and a bit of a wait but we got in fairly fast and it isn't a huge restaurant so it's a bit noisy. The service was good and our food came very fast. Our food was very tasty and we would definitely go back. Very centrally located!

We had to wait awhile to get in, and it was crowded and pretty noisy inside, but the food was delicious and the service was good . The menu was varied and the portions were more than adequate. It was a good place to fill up before a day of hiking.

We were grateful to find Jeannie's open for breakfast at 6 AM after experiencing the sunrise atop of Cadillac Mtn. We had heard raves about their "Betty's" Blueberry Pancakes. We were a party of 4, each getting something different. I had the pancakes and they were ok, not great. I found them rather tasteless. Real maple syrup cost $2.99. There... More

When we arrived for breakfast, the storm (Arthur) had caused a power outage, but this restaurant was still cooking for the customer. (gas). They let us know right away they couldn't serve hot coffee or tea, but could make us breakfast. We sat in a semi-dark room and were served a very nice breakfast. Homemade strawberry-rhubarb jam on their homemade... More

We had a tofu scramble and blueberry pancakes and bacon. The tofu was dry and tasted like sandpaper. There was too much curry and too little salt. The maple syrup was odd; it did not taste sweet or like maple. The service was fine; they left a pitcher of coffee so I did not have to wait for refills. Strawberry... More

This is our 2nd breakfast here and they have the BEST French Toast in town. Even better then Cafe this way. The raisin bread one was the best, the strawberry rhubarb jam that is on the table is Wonderful! You could make a meal out of this and their Oat toast. Go here and enjoy your morning meal. Just be... Don't be tied to your hotel or inn for breakfast. This is the place to eat in the morning. You won't be disappointed...unless you arrive after 8:00 on a weekend or in-season, the line is very long! Totally worth the wait though.
