This place is worth the hype! We had blueberry pancakes (warning: they're BIG) which we topped with their homemade strawberry rhubarb jam... Delicious beyond words! We also had a savory breakfast dish which was the Veggie Benedict with hash browns and it was also perfect! Highly recommended but we recommend you book since it's packed!

This place was always so crowded, lines form outside, so of course we thought it was a place to def. try. Not sure why we even did. The breakfast was nothing special, it was your basic. Just putting this review so you are aware before you agree to your wait time.

We ate at Jeannie's after watching a beautiful sunrise on Cadillac Mountain. There was a 10-15 minute wait but it was well worth it! The menu is very extensive and offers something for everyone -including those following a vegan or gluten free diet. The blueberry pancakes and the strawberry rhubarb jam were the best I have ever had. Other's in... More

Not to mention the strawberry rhubarb jam. Mmmmmm. We have breakfast here almost every day and the food and service can both be described as fantastic. The last day decided to try something I hadn't had before - the biscuits & gravy - much to my regret. It sat heavy for traveling and made me wish I'd had the pancakes... More

Very good food, great atmosphere. Service is great. Would definitely go back again. Have eaten at Jeannie's each time we have been in Bar Harbor.

We got there around 8:30am on a Sunday, there was already a line and a bit of a wait but we got in fairly fast and it isn't a huge restaurant so it's a bit noisy. The service was good and our food came very fast. Our food was very tasty and we would definitely go back. Very centrally located!

We had to wait awhile to get in, and it was crowded and pretty noisy inside, but the food was delicious and the service was good . The menu was varied and the portions were more than adequate. It was a good place to fill up before a day of hiking.

We were grateful to find Jeannie's open for breakfast at 6 AM after experiencing the sunrise atop of Cadillac Mtn. We had heard raves about their "Betty's" Blueberry Pancakes. We were a party of 4, each getting something different. I had the pancakes and they were ok, not great. I found them rather tasteless. Real maple syrup cost $2.99. There... More
