Great breakfast spot on the outskirts of town. Fresh biscuits were nice and omelets were delicious. Good coffee, too! more

Great place. Lobster Benedict was great. My husband and I were standing outside and here comes a big fluffy grey tabby cat running out of the cafe. I stopped to pet him and took his picture. He happily sucked up the attention. Then as we walk in...here comes one of the girls who work there looking for the kitty. Apparently... more

We went in for breakfast one morn in Sept. Only had a short wait for a table. I found the restaurant to be very charming with a cozy feel to it. I was eyeballing the lobster omelete special, and decided to go with it. It was absolutely delicious! Lobster, gouda cheese....mmmn. Served with a biscuit with strawberry butter (also delicious).... more

We really enjoyed our breakfasts at 2 Cats. The restaurant is in a house and decorated in a cat theme. So if you don't like cats, don't go because there are some cats walking around. But if you really like cats like we do, you might get a chance to pet one. The food was great, the staff extremely friendly... more

This is no fly-by-night tourist place. Every year when I visit MDI, I come here every morning for a hearty breakfast. This is all I need to prepare for a day of hiking/biking/outdoor activity. Although I am on a budget, it is well worth the splurge, because after such a big breakfast I don't need to stop for lunch. I... more

A significant part of our vacation includes visiting local restaurants. It is extremely rare that we eat at the same restaurant more than once on the same trip. I can count on one hand the number of restaurants (outside of Disney World) where we've eaten more than one meal on the same trip. And, I'm happy to add 2 Cats... more

Arrived on a Wednesday morning and enjoyed the outdoor seating option Some very nice menu selections with fresh ingredients. I tried the Lobster Benedict. I would strongly recommend 2 Cats if you enjoy breakfast and selecting from a menu with all sorts of different options. more

We always have breakfast here at least one morning when in Bar Harbor, sometimes two. On our last trip I had an apple, walnut and cheddar omelet that was to die for. It was served with homefres and a biscuit with strawberry butter. I would highly recommend giving 2 cats a try. Don't forget to get a bag of granola... more

Just phenomenal food (I've only had breakfast there but would return for lunch) and a warm homey eating-in-a-friend's-kitchen feeling. Their site sums it up well "From big and beefy to gourmet vegetarian our menu is deliciously different. Seafood lovers can dive into omelets stuffed with smoked trout or Nova Scotia salmon. Eggs Benedict lovers and pancake connoisseurs never had it... more

My Husband and I go out to breakfast a lot and happen to live near really great breakfast places. Generally when on vacation we are unimpressed with breakfast options. Not here, the food and coffee here were unbelievable!! The atmosphere is great when you get to sit on the deck. We went here twice in a row we loved it... more
