My wife and I ate here three times. The blueberry pancakes were remarkable and so big that we thought that we were in Amsterdam. The egg dishes were also great, and the large mugs of good coffee kept flowing. One nice thing is that although there can be a wait, you can go in and get a mug of coffee... More

I would rate the food as a 3, for the most part it was overcooked and pretty average, though the pancakes were good, but I like a thin pancake and they had maple syrup. The arty atmosphere inside was very nice and pleasant and the prices were not that bad.

we ended there because we had heard about it and we were in the area. We only had appetizers and drinks. Everything was great from the ambiance, the service and the food. The duck enchilada and the fried Brussels sprouts are to die for.

This restaurant is so AWESOME that we ate there 2 mornings in a row and 1 evening meal! The Hash is homemade and delicious as well as the Home Fries. Dinner was a very tasty perfectly cooked medium rare Rib Eye and Pecan Crusted Halibut. If we were here longer we would have been there again!

We had dinner at Cafe This Way on a Sun nite, which was a bit less crowded (tried on Fri nite, and they were fully booked for the entire evening, so we went elsewhere). Reservations strongly recommended. Fun, funky, open airy atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. Good drink and beer selection and variety. Plus, they have their own private parking area,... More

A lovely choice for a vegan dinner. There were two choices, which is two more than most restaurants in Bar Harbor. I selected the curry dish with rices cauliflower. It was delish!

Blueberry pancake breakfast. That's all you really need to know about Cafe This Way. The service was friendly and kind, but who can think about anything other than the amazing blueberry pancakes?!

We got breakfast takeout the last day we were in town and wish we started on our first day. The monte cristo was one of the best I ever had. The corned beef hash was ridiculous! Hands down THE BEST. Glad we did takeout...otherwise I would have ordered 3 more sides of hash and blocked a few corona ties in... More

Went for breakfast and was so smitten with the whole shebang, went back for dinner. (Reservations recommended.) I can't say enough about the menu(s)-- eclectic, gourmet, healthy. The service is excellent-- we had breakfast on a busy morning and saw the waitstaff hustling non-stop-- all the time smiling. With vegetarian and gluten-free options (and also some tasty cocktails) there's something... More

Menu is fun and inventive. Great beers on tap. Specials are usually worth a try although the standing menu is solid. We have heard breakfast is superb although we eat breakfast at home so we haven't tried it. Parking is a plus as Bar Harbor can get crowded. The only miss this time was the seafood noodles- flavorful broth and... More
