This was one of the best meals we've had in awhile. The wine list is superb; the scallops were as tender as any we've eaten, and the pork dish well spiced. Wonderful service; the manager and owner spent time speaking with us. An absolute must.

Coming from Florida, I was hesitant going to a cuban restaurant in Maine, however it was very very good. Could be that part of me was giddy just getting into town, but either way, this was delicous and our best meal in Maine (unless you are in Maine to only eat Lobster). My wife and I went here for our... More

The meal started with oysters (both raw and grilled) while sitting at the outdoors bar. We then moved in for a wonderful dinner. I enjoyed perfectly prepared scallops. The special that evening was swordfish and it was amazing. Owner Michael Boland stopped by the table and accepted our favorable comments. Waiter Sam was helpful and fun. Oh yes - if... More

Very romantic restaurant and nice ambiance. The owner visits the tables to thank you for coming. I had the lobster dish which was amazing, it had 10 ounces of lobster in it and it was so good. The food has a bit of spice, so if you don't like really spicy food you should ask to have it toned down.... More

We were hoping for a fabulous lobster dinner but it was so chewy that we couldn't eat it. Turns out that they prepare their portions in advance - did not taste fresh. Soup (gespacho) was extremely salty & the risotto was mushy like oatmeal, bland and not hot. Sent it back & ended up leaving without eating when the manager... More

So flavorful, and filled with properly cooked seafood, including lobster and clams. Wonderful chorizo and,of corse, rice. Great dish!

Nice atmosphere. Waiter was tired and harried, though we ate late, at last 8:30 sitting. Drinks were delicious as was flan for dessert. My scallops were not cooked all the way through. Other family members really enjoyed the tuna, seafood paella, and curried lobster dish. Overall it was very good but also very expensive.

I was concerned about going here because on reviewer said you have to like Mexican... How ignorant. This place serves high class Cuban cuisine and does it with style and professionalism. We had Gaspacho, 2 salads, 2 main courses, and cocktails, and were not disappointed. We come from Tampa, FL where the Cuban influence flows down every street, and this... More

Best mojito ever! Our group shared a variety of small plates. Everything was excellent. Fun to sit at the outside bar and outdoor kitchen. Looking forward to our next visit.

So, Havana is fabulous. But some time, you just don't want to wear pants. Maybe you've just been on the trail. Maybe you're just kicking it back vacation-style. Whatever. Come, have all the great eats of Havana, but a laid-back atmosphere of an open-air bar. And bacon jam rocks!
