(see explanation of ratings below) 4 of 5 stars (very good, fine dining). About $30 per person for food (no dessert); about $15 per person for booze. Allow 90 minutes. Wine sampler is a good deal: three 2-ounce pours of any offered by the glass for $11.95. Recommended: the Seafood Paella. While our meal here was okay, we all felt... More

Havana advertises its food as "Cuban influenced," which seems to involve using a lot of jalapeno peppers - that's not a bad thing, since I enjoy spicy food, just something to be aware of. We enjoyed our meal here very much. My wife had a salad that included both red and yellow watermelon and liked it so much she took... More

We enjoyed one of the best meals we had in Bar Harbor at Havana. We all loved their corn bread with feta cheese. The salads and corn bread were perfect starters. Everything was terrific, including service. We ate in the building behind the main building and found the atmosphere very pleasant.

We ate here with our Cuban friend. From appetizers to dessert the food was outstanding! The flavor in the food was unbelievable. It is not a very big restaurant so you will probably need reservations. The atmosphere was warm and the staff were friendly and attentive. This is one of the finest restaurants in Bar Harbor. President Obama and Michelle... More

This is a short walk from downtown Bar Harbor but well worth the wait. We had a nice romatic dinner for two and then returned 2 days later with a group of8 to celebrate my 50th birthday. The service was impeccable, the food is innovative and amazing and the wine list is nothing short of spectacular. Despite the high level... More

I come to hike in Acadia every fall. I came to Havana last year and it was solid so I decided to come back again this year. I really enjoy their red wine selection and had a 3 glass sampler. The multi-grain bread with bean spread is delicious and so was the pumpkin spice bread. I had the kale and... More

Havana has a great ambience, very special and professional waitering (Our waiter Enrique was such a memorable and distinguished person!) and with the live music which was on while we were eating, you can't imagine a better place. Our starters (white bean soup and crab cakes) were truly delicious, however we were disappointed with our mains - my husbands gnochi... More

Had a nice meal at Havana. It was expensive, but I like that they use local meat and produce; willing to pay more for this. I had the scallops which were fabulous. 4 nice big scallops. My husband had the mushroom spring rolls and said they were very good. He also had the seafood paella which he said was pretty... More

We went here on recommendation of person running wine shop. Food was excellent. I had farmer's salad it had many local ingredients Wife had mussels they were done to perfection. They also have homemade bread and the cornbread was great. Had two other dishes which were very well done. Manager Andy came by table and asked if everything was appropriate.... More
