Located up the street from all the action, the landmark with its huge portions and delicious food did not disappoint. We only had lunch there, but, if we had the chance we would have eaten more than one meal here

Ate here on a rainy night so we sat inside and it was stuffy. Ordered a bunch of dishes to try. The fried clams were delicious, clam chowder was good, mussels were good but too spicy. The menu said nothing about the mussels being spicy. I couldn't eat them due to the spice but my FI could. Seafood medley was... More

One of our perennial favorites, consistently good food and service year after year. We have been going to BH for years and always seem to go back here time after time. Consistently good food and good service. This is on the far side of BH near the bay near the first class hotels. Excellent choice on menu. Calamari is the... More

We got a recommendation from a local that this was a great place for a lobster, but that also had a menu varied enough for those who wanted something besides fish. The New York strip steak was good as was the lobster (my first). Don't forget to finish with a piece of blueberry pie. Service was prompt and the atmosphere... More

Stopped in here after tour on Oli's Trolley, it was recommended by tour guide. Great recommendation! We had the lobster roll, chowder, and blueberry pie platter. My wife said it was the best blueberry pie she had ever had.

After a wonderful tour of BarHarbor, then sit down for a cold one. Features a will rounded menu, something for everyone. The service was exceptional, friendly, quick and attentive. Crab Roll was the order today, and tasted great. Others at the table enjoyed a haddock sandwich with a couple of beers! Reasonable prices...well it is Bar Harbor in the middle... More

We heard good things about the West St Cafe, both online and from a couple of the locals. We went late one afternoon to take advantage of the early bird menu. Nothing was terrible, but everything was just average. From the bread, to the crab cakes, fried haddock and pasta. Roadside diner quality, nothing more. The exception was the lobster... More

We visited this restaurant on the advice of our B&B hosts, who said they ate there frequently. He said a lot of locals eat there. I particularly wanted crab cakes and they were delicious. My husband had scallops and said they were the best he'd had. The place is not fancy but the food is delicious and the service good.

This meal was ok. But OK means not good, not bad. I had the baked lobster which was nice, my wife's Salmon was disappointing.

While looking at the menu for this restaurant, a customer who was leaving told us that we needed to eat there...said it was fabulous and it was. Excellent meal and service and we thought the prices were very reasonable. The cheapest martini I had during our entire trip. The servings were huge (actually enough for 2 people)! A wonderful evening!!!
