Good food, Cold beer and Great service. That's a Trifecta in the restaurant world. We always make a point of stopping in when we are in town, I highly recommend you do the same. .... Cheers

Liked the interesting menu items. The service seemed a little stand-offish; not bad but not warm. Still would go back because the food was good.

Had dinner here and thought the food was fine, but nothing special for the price (for example: boiled vegetables). The atmosphere is nice and I liked the look of the restaurant. Staff was all very friendly. If you are interested, they have very good early bird specials if you like to eat early. My parents took advantage of the early... More

We were on a mission to try the lobster at a different restaurant every day on our trip to Bar Harbor. The lobster was good and our dining experience was OK but not our top pick. Missed the view that other dining offered.

There were four of us who ate lunch at the West Street Café. We had a variety of seafood, from steamed lobster to a broiled seafood plate. Each person thought their food was excellent. The service was exceptionally friendly and caring. Two of the four of us were from Australia and had not had lobster served as they do in... More

I am not a huge lobster fan, but when in Rome etc. We had the sweetest, most tender lobster I have ever eaten. The food and service were excellent. This is a very plain cafe type place with freindly staff and wonderful food. Try not to miss.

West Street Cafe was great for dinner! I can't say enough good things about it. I sat at the bar and was treated like a king. The seafood casserole was terrific and the chowder was really good. The bartender was friendly and the Owner sat me right away even though they were busy they had space at the bar. I... More

This place serves the best and sweetest Maine lobster I've ever tasted. And the staff are friendly and fast. The prices: fair. Yes you have to wait quite a long time to be seated but there is gold at the end of the rainbow.

We first visited this restaurant 2 years ago on a cruise stop based on a recommendation from a casual acquaintance. We loved the people, food and atmosphere. We took the same cruise this year with a small group of friends and hyped it to them as a "must stop" place for lunch. In 2 years the place has not changed... More
