This cafe was so noisy we could not carry on a conversation. Not only were the patrons all noisy but the loudest music possible was blasting forth. We waited 15 minutes to order food, another 25 minutes for two soups and a salad to appear and then did not have time to enjoy it because we were rushing to catch... More

After 4 days of lobster rolls and steamed lobster, we decided to try something different for dinner. Lompoc was a great place to go. As it was buggy out we opted to eat inside by the bar. The entrees can be pricey so my family of 3 made do sharing clam chowder (stocked with clams), lobster cake app with spicy... More

Stumbled upon this place on our first night in Bar Harbor looking for a casual dinner. Very excited to find this inventive menu in the midst of a street of very conventional choices - Pub/Mexican/Pizza/Chinese/etc. We loved the Indian-style lobster cakes, pizza, chilled cucumber mint soup, and falafel burger. Laid back atmosphere, inside or outside seating, a number of families... More

Lompoc was recommended to us by a local and we're still scratching our heads on this trying to figure out what the appeal could possibly be. Perhaps there are some dishes they do well, but nothing we ordered was very good. We started out with the cheese fritters and beet carpaccio. Fritters were flavorless and the beets tasted like they... More

This place is highly overpriced for average food. The restaurant is dingy and there were flies who had come for dinner apparently. Some kale curry with rice and lobster cakes( which was 90% potatoes and 10% lobster) cost us 50$ !! I guess people come here for the drinks and not the food.

This is a local restaurant with a "beer garden" with a bocce court. Next to public parking lot but shielded from it by a line of trees. Burger, lobster rolls, pizza and more. As night came on the garden was lit with lanterns. Nice casual eatery that doesn't think too much of itself!

We went here after our first option was fully booked. We ordered, and asked (a few times) that whatever is ready - to send it out since the little kids were hungry. Waited about 30 min and nothing. Asked what is happening and they said they have a small kitchen (!!!) and it will be right out. We reminded them... More

On a side street, the patio area is crossed by all customers on the way to the receptionist. The bocce court was a little distracting by several mostly uncontrolled children using the court to aggressively throw the balls back and forth. The seating inside is dominated by music. All that said, the salads were excellent with fresh ingredients. The pizza... More

We thought the menu looked interesting and creative so we tried it. Yikes. It was a creative menu that didn't turn out so well. We had the Indian inspired lobster cakes and something just didn't seem right about the lobster itself in them. The chicken in the fried chicken sandwich and on my salad was dry. Maybe we were there... More

I read a review about this place being a hidden gem and it really was. I you're looking for handmade vegetarian food this place is perfect and offers many options, not just salads. I had the falafel burger, tossed salad and beet greens which were all delicious. The tossed side salad was a great size, the food was fresh and... More
