We had a really good time at Lompoc Cafe. We went in the evening with our kids - ages 12 and 16. They had a good and interesting menu with a lot of choices to please every type of palate. The service was friendly and the place was very laid back. We especially loved playing bocci while we were there.... More

This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Bar Harbor. Lompoc Cafe reminds me of the type of place I'd stumble upon in the lower east side of Manhattan. It has style with an outdoor eating option and is a nice break from the stuck up tourist trap that Bar Harbor is often guilty of being. I hear... More

My husband and I had dinner at Lompoc. We sat outside which was set-up nicely with a bocci ball court, cafe tables, light strung from the trees, etc. We sat down around 8:30pm and did not have to wait. Our table was ready when we got there. They accept reservations for off-times/days. The menu has a lot to offer and... More

The location was great and the service was okay. My food was not particularly to my liking. It was hot and tasted fine but not my favorite meal while at Bar Harbor.

This place is really a bar. I would not bring my family back here. The food was just ok and the service mediocre at best.

We had a surprise birthday party for my brother at the Lompoc last night that exceeded our expectations. Wonderful hospitality, great food, fun atmosphere, and the staff couldn't be nicer. Thanks again to James, the owner, Meg, the kitchen manager, Leah, the go-to girl, Iz and all the staff at the Lompoc for helping us have such a wonderful evening.... More

went here on a recommendation from an author. A very casual laid-back restaurant that serves vegetarian items as well. At the server's suggestion had sangria and mussels...the mussels were amazing! But, when I realized they weren't enough for my meal.. I asked for a bowl of chowder. 30 minutes later I was still waiting... eventually I cancelled the chowder and... More

I love the lompoc! Amazing food that is really unique for the town and my favorite outdoor seating in town by far. The Bang Bang is one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I have ever had and in addition to great food its got a great atmosphere, Bocce, and fantastic cocktails. I am a local of 6 years and... I have been coming here since it opened and the place has morphed a bit over the years but it has consistenlty good food, an interesting menu unlike any other in Bar Harbor and a good vibe. Our dinner tonight was excellent, drinks also good, not too pricey. One of the places in town I alway stop at when visiting.
