Intersting Diner

The décor is very interesting, lots of antiques that you might find in a Diner. Lunch was very good. My lobster roll was excellent, A very family friendly menu for adults and kids.

Stayed in the park too long on our second day and missed breakfast so we came here for lunch. It seems to have a 1950's theme with the walls covered with items from yesteryear. The menu was large with many items, this never seems to work out,I've found out over my years less items, means better quality and taste. We had a lobster roll and... I came here with my family and we were really looking forward to eating here because everything on the menu looked really good. But unfortunately we were very disappointed. Especially considering all the great restaurants in this town. Two of us ordered the French onion soup but the onions were barely cooked/almost raw and neither of us could really finish... More

Starting off by saying that I am a chef and I know how trip advisor works within establishments. I would highly recommend that the manager or owner of this establishment takes everything that I am about to write on this review into serious consideration. I have been coming to bar harbor since I was a little girl. I remember this... More

the food is really good, fast, and served with a smile. Great staff, great food. The walls though will keep you entertained for a long time. This place looks like its been there forever and they just kept finding stuff to add to the walls. A welcome differance for a New England lobster town

This is a quirky diner which is filled with old vehicle registration plates, metal signs and advertisements with the customary model railroad running around the upstairs balcony - you get the picture. We went during a busy lunchtime and had to queue for a few minutes but we were soon seated and very well looked after. The service was quick... More

Located in the middle of the harbor shopping area, this uniquely decorated restaurant will keep you busy looking around until your order arrives. We ordered lobster rolls and clam chowder, and absolutely LOVED the blueberry pie! Good food, great fun!

We went here on our first night in Bar Harbor. What a fun place! Kids and parents alike enjoyed the meal. Seafood Fettucini was very good. Cuban Sandwich was DELICIOUS!

We always squeeze in at least one meal at Route 66 when we are in town. The menu is extensive and the place family friendly. There are tons of quirky artifacts (aka junk) on the walls, with a train that goes overhead to the delight of children. The food is quite good.

we showed up a dinner hour wanting only blueberry pie, ice cream and coffee. Server was nice as can be and did not begrudge us taking up a booth. Loads of Rt 66 "stuff" thru out. Great pie and coffee and excellent service. Just cannot speak for any actual meal items.
